Does anyone know if they passed the  bathroom law targeting transgender people?
I'm scared half to death that it hit Georgia i don't watch the news often but i heard about this and i'm freaking because i fly out to go to GA to see a friend of mine and i'm scared it hit Ga because using a bathroom is sometimes needed and i ain't planning on going into a woman's bathroom! and i happened to fly down to ga.
I have anxiety over this also because last time i was in GA people where already aggressive knowing i was considering myself gay at the time. But know that i know i am actually trans not including bathrooms
i can just see myself in danger in general. i know its all silly to worry about but i am freaked.

The laws are more squarely targeted at trans women. If you are presenting as male I doubt 95% of anyone cares if you use the Gents.

Yep a lot of the world is screwed up. If you feel your fear is cause you undue anxiety you would do well to talk to a therapist about coping strategies. Until the world changes for the better the only way to face its prejudice and bigotry is to strengthen ourselves in the face of it. :)

The Republican Gov of Georgia vetoed the law under pressure from businesses.

I should be less of a problem for you as FTM.  I have frequently seen cis-women use the men's restroom without encountering any problem or recourse.

I sure wish they did that here in NC. I still use the womens room though, what they don't know won't hurt them.

Did you know that the Romans built coed public restrooms with no stalls? Sex segregated public toilets were invented in England during the Victorian era. Tradition. :icon_hahano:

I feel ya, bro. Might be wise to bring a friend with you every time you want to use the bathroom in public. Or use it at home and try not to drink anything before you go or while you're out in public if you're that worried about it. I don't have to worry as much about it because I have CKD and that makes it very hard to go, as long as it's # 1. #2 is a whole other story...

Unfortunately, NC passed their law too quickly for anyone to have time to protest or cooler heads to prevail so to speak.

This law is really stupid if you think about it. It totally violates every anti-discrimination law currently in place. It's a freakin' contradiction! Do these guys think before they initiate such mediocrity or are they those type of guys who shoot first and ask questions later? Smh!
