I got misgendered last night. And I liked it.

I was at dinner last night in guy mode with my wife.

The waiter greeted us with "Can I get a drink for you ladies?" which he quickly corrected once I started talking.

i am used to occasionally getting misgendered when my hair is long-ish, especially when approached from the back.

This was the first time it's happened when my hair is really short (and styled like a guy), and he was at 12 o'clock with a good view of my completely makeup free face.

It was oddly satisfying. Even though I am not explicitly trying to look like a woman when I'm in guy mode, I'm definitely not trying for the he-man look or persona.

Congrats. It can really feel good when that happens especially when we have done nothing that would encourage the receiving the gendering they gave us. Hugs

It's funny that you mention this Chris Dee. When I used to try to be in girl mode all of the time, any time I was misgendered as a boy I did not find this amusing or enjoyable at all. I think it has alot to do with the fact for almost the same reason I get upset from being misgendered as a girl now. And that is because I literally exhausted myself to work on a female persona just to fit in with everyone like a robot and be happy, which never really happened anyway. It's like now that I am in guy mode, I'm getting seen as a girl at times. Really screwy. You would think that short hair and no make up would make a huge difference, but it kinda doesn't sometimes. I have heard of guys on T who have full beards and they get called a lady to their face. I don't get that one at all.
