I'm FTM and have about chin length hair. I'm a grooms man at my brothers wedding. I'm not out to my entire family but my brother, being the saint that he is, made the wedding attire gender neutral so I wouldn't stand out in a suit at his wedding. I need to do something with my hair. I have been growing it out so I could wear it in a pony, so I don't want to cut it, but it is still to short to pull back. I would like it out of my face any suggestion?

I'd suggest :

- some hair pins to fix it .

- otherwise some kind of hair foam, for this occasion
(I'd suggest organic... usually less irritating ingredients).

- sugar water if its an emergency and you do not have access to any foam
(at your own risk ... finding the right consistency might take one or two tries)

- try a ponytail regardless, some hair should be there to bind back

Thanks for the suggestion. ;D I'm so nervous I have never been in a wedding before, and I don't want to embarrass my brother.

I have a suggestion for you that may take hair spray or or a hair gel available from any beauty supply store. You might like something like this . The style could be somewhat unisex. If that doesn't feel right, there are many more styles to close from on that site. I went through thousands of them figuring out what I wanted to do with my hair.

That does look really nice. A stylist is coming to do all the bride and grooms parties hair before the wedding so I don't have to worrier about products or skill. which is awesome!! ;D
Thanks for the suggestion :D

Slicked back with gel like Jax from Sons of Anarchy. I had a grown out DA which I used to style like this while growing my hair out in 1989/90

Don't be nervous, try to have some fun.

You could talk to the hair stylist, maybe they are eager to help.

You could try to get some hair rubbers beforehand and try some kind of ponytail.
Its possible it looks cute, and kind of artistic.
The rest could be styled in any way that looks nice.

See it all as an opportunity to have some fun :)

And since you probably have nice hair it will all look kind of nice, no matter what :)
