Bible-Bearing Christian Mom Goes on Anti-LGBT Tirade at Target: 'Are You Gonna Let the Devil Rape Your Children?' – WATCH

"Attention Target customers," she yelled. "Do not be deceived, Target would have you believe with their Mother's Day displays that they love mothers and children. This is a deception. This is not love, and they've proven it by opening their bathrooms to perverted men. I'm a mother of 12 and I'm very disgusted by this wicked practice." [...]

"Mothers get your children out of this store," the woman yelled. "Mothers have enough decency to get out of this store, it's a dangerous place... What Target has done is very hateful. It's hateful towards families. It's hateful towards mothers. It's hateful towards children... Are you gonna let the devil rape your children?"

The woman warned people against "bowing to the homosexual perverted agenda."


As they exit, a man who appears to be the woman's husband shouts back into the store, "The destruction of God is coming on this nation....AND Target!"

Just another day in America.  And it's all Great Britain's fault for exporting all the religious nut cases here back in the 17th Century. :-). Apparently it's genetic.

Well..... this is one time I'm glad they didn't spell Devyl with a "y"! 

After watching these videos, I think these people are showing themselves to be the extremists that they are. I don't think anyone will be swayed by their horrible behavior. It made me angry to watch, but it also made me want to increase my effort to behave with class. I want the distinction being me, a transgender person, and the extremists to be clear. I think the worst thing about these people is their complete lack of empathy for other human beings. It is truly the ugly side of humanity.

My very dear friend who supports tg rights has herself questioned me about the bathroom issue. She does not object to tgs using bathrooms of their choice. But she objects to male in male clothing using the female bathroom. Citing that she knows of perverted males. I could not answer her as I don't really understand the details of the law.

First define male clothing with no ambiguity. Next define male features with no ambiguity. Now, with that you can say whether someone is male or female at a glance...  um, no, you can't. That's why a law can't work. It comes down to an opinion and that's how CIS women get thrown out of bars (Detroit, 2014) or beaten up (recent).

But accosting or assaulting children is a crime, no matter where, and no matter how a malefactor is dressed.  I think that's all the law that is needed to address the "problem" that is raised.

Are women's jeans, button shirt, and flip flops female or male clothing?  What if you have longer hair but no makeup?  What if your voice still needs work?  Who makes that decision at the door?

Bible thumpers have a habit of staying away from me for I know the bible better then they do and their preachers are a joke for they also have no clue to what the bible says and they flee from me.

I really appreciated some of the posts here that made me LMFAO.  Butt seriously, consider any parent or family member that needs or wants to accompany their child or disabled person in the restroom?  Yup, dorks in aggressive denial are quite revealing.  Can't wait for more.

If only people believed women who come forward about being raped, then I'd believe they were really worried about where it took place. Controlling who goes in what bathroom has nothing to do with assault, which is already a crime. All of this a throwback to segregation, based on nothing.

The even more insulting aspect is that it implies women cannot defend themselves from men, and need men and loud angry people to keep them safe. I've seen heterosexual cis-white privileged men joke about going into the women's bathroom. I've seen a few on "patrol" as well. Far right hate groups have proudly announced they are sending men into women's bathrooms around the country to keep men from entering women's bathrooms, it's maddening.

Thank you for reminding me just how serious this is.  I agree with you entirely although I also consider these attempts at segregation to be based on fear, ignorance, ideology and subjective comfort levels.  The same basis for racial and other segregation regimes. 

I get that some people are uncomfortable with diversity and wish to go back to a time when "others" were kept in closets and institutions and our tender sensibilities were not exposed to people in, gasp, wheel chairs in our public bathrooms.  Remember the kind folks who graciously fought the Americans with Disabilities Act?  They railed against having to change bathrooms and parking to accommodate them as "too expensive" for such a tiny minority.  Sound familiar?
