This will be my first year. A little nervous with the religious people in town.... They've REALLY been going nuts lately. It sounds like others in an LGBT group I go to are going though so I won't have to be alone if we go together.

pride parades usually have a whole lot of people. It would be quite foolish for those with problems to show up/

Blackpool pride soon, costs mega money. The gay scene is very cliquey and I haven't felt wanted there for a long time.Worse still is the awful music! Won't be going

The big San Francisco Trans March is on June 24, the Friday before the big Pride weekend.  As Big Kim notes, the gay scene is very cliquey, and the Trans community is a bit less than welcome at Pride events here, unfortunately.

My personal transition path included medical changes.  The path others take may require no medical intervention, or different care.  We each find our own path. I provide these dates for the curious.

Chicago is a little different , we have a large transgender community here and I rather doubt given the make up (no pun) of the trans community I rather doubt we could care  less ,we'll
be there.
