So I'm still deciding weather or not to transition but I want to be making progress in the mean time.. So I'm not waisting time .. I don't want to have to start from the bottom if I do decide so one thing I can do is start exercising to achieve a more feminine look so I was curious of what others have done or are doing to achieve this I've done some research and what I am doing iscutting out weight lifting completely as I have a ton of muscle mass to lose I'm pretty much just jogging and doing body weight squats and then stretching and yoga.. I've reduced my protein intake a lot as I am trying to burn muscle and fat at the same time.. I know hrt will help with the upper body muscle mass.. And I have big calves my legs tapper down to nice ankles but my calves are way to big so any suggestions on reducing valve size would be helpful.. Anyway just curios on others routines and to know how it worked out for you

I think any sort of workout would boost T!
Me personaly if done nothing but eat E boosting foods and little meat!
Lost tones of weight, now 67kgs
I honestly wouldn't workout till I have at least a T blocker in  me!

Well I'm looking to lose 40 lbs before I even start hrt and with just diet the weight loss will take to long plus if I'm working out just jogging once I'm in a caloric dedicate my body will start consuming muscle to use as energy so I will lose the fat and muscle mass and have alot better cardiovascular health which is important when on hormones.. Just my thoughts... What kinds of E boasting foods were you eating?

Low impact cardiovascular and lots of it. I've managed to lose 40+ lbs in a short period of time. Personally I go to the gym or track 3 times a week for 60 to 70 minutes, treadmill on a hill routine for the caloric burn, alternate with the eliptical and if the weather is nice I go to the local track and run. Started at 100 on 100 off, moved up to 200 on 100 off, then 300 on 100 off. Now I'm competing in my first 5k next week. Did this all in about 4 months.

I'm down to just an hour in freestyle aerobics class then 5k on the treadmill at 9kmh 1% incline. Apart from that day just normal activities. (Can't do more for the moment due to ugliness from electrolysis but I do love my Wednesdays ♡)

The class helped me learn how to move as previously my movements like everything else were pretty robotic. Instructor is amazing which makes all the difference as her energy is contagious. Don't know how but I kinda fell into my wee clique which also gives it a great social element. Started as the only guy now just one of the girls ;)

The treadmill is for straight cardio and if lucky a wee bit of catabolic activity as I'm also looking to shave a little meat off the legs though no longer as fixated on them so all good.

Coupled with a 1350 calorie mostly vegan diet atm.

Lost over 5 stone being bad but don't recommend it as it could probably kill people. Basically exercising too much and eating way too little can't be good for you but it did work.

Losing weight will help a lot with your overall size, but if you have a lot of muscle, it will hang around for a while, so you will be smaller but still muscular and more defined looking than most women. I just do cardio workouts and flexibility exercises, and have been on HRT for several years, so most of the muscle I had has drastically atrophied, but I still have some areas that are a little more bulky than I would like.

We're you pretty muscular before transitioning kitten power?

You can do squats, lunges, and hip abductions.  Those will all focus on your gluteus muscles, which will help enhance a feminine figure.

I was very muscular @ 6ft and 205 lbs with only about 6% body fat; I have small joints though (6.5" wrists), and my calves didn't get that big (I think they were 16" at their largest), and I never did any neck strengthening exercises, so I didn't develop a thick neck.

Wow you were pretty built then you look like you have transitioned very well though if your avatar is you I'm currently 5'9" 225 but probably around 25% body fat my goal is to get to at least 180 before even starting hrt I know with low test and high estrogen it makes losing weight even harder so I want to lose as much as I can now while the hormones are still in my favor

I do a lot of biking and when I want to lose weight/inches I avoid carbs.  Bread, in my case, goes right too fat for me.  I lost many inches off my middle.  Then the biking comes in to keep it off.  I went from 170 to 145 in about a year.  Being only 5'7" and a 28" waste (was closer to 34"), I could look quite feminine from the back before starting hrt.  Now the front is catching up.

Good luck.

Thanks, yes that is me; I'm happy with my transition, but it has been a long process. Best wishes 😊
