Nail polish. First time (ever), sideswiped by the realisation that my hands looked amazing.

Getting a disability pass for the local transit bus, which I didn't think I would get. Also I found out that it works with a door to door bus service that will take you to places like the grocery store or the mall. So that is really good for me! More mobility and more independence from the people in my life who want control.

I've been depressed and nervous much of the day.. It's not important why. Soaked in the tub and shaved. I wasn't happy with the shave.

I had to go out to the store so I got dressed, no gaff, blue cords, a yellow cable knit sweater and black flats. I looked at my face and, being downhearted, didn't bother with makeup.

When I got to the store with absolutely no idea what to make I went to the fish department. The man said, "what can I get for you, ma'am?" Strangely, my day turned around! ;D

Oh, important point, I haven't done laser or electrolysis yet.
April 22, 2015, the day of my first face to face pass in gender neutral clothes and no makeup. It may be months to the next one, but I'm good with that!

I went to a Xmas meal today for staff & volunteers with women's services (I know it's almost June, don't ask).
One of the women there has only met me once before & we got on like a house on fire both today & last time we met, she's got a 2 for 1 spa day ticket & has invited me along to join her when she goes.
I'm a very happy chick right now (I promise it's not the 2 large glasses of red wine I had with the meal doing the typing right now)

Electro tomorrow. Last appt. was two weeks ago. Not looking forward to the pain; but definitely happy to get the removal process started again!

My hair is getting quite longer. The bob it is currently in now has one side of my bangs that hangs past my chin. I like flipping my head back and fourth so i can smell my awesome smelling shampoo and clean hair.

It truly is the little things :)

I just feel good today; although I'm worried how long that'll last. My face is looking quite masculine now after being almost 7 months on T. I may not think I'm quite 'attractive' but I'm happy how I look. Just thinking how I was a year ago to now; I'd never go back :)

While I'm doing laundry I'm texting back and forth with Randi (formally known here as Sweetie) about the trip we're leaving on tomorrow. She said she has a makeup bag for me to use. Agreeing to divorce but stay together has really lowered her stress over my transition! I wonder if, in a year or two, she would entertain marrying me again? Just kidding! Never doing THAT again.

Oddball medical stuff.  My urologist 'scoped out my blockage that has been bugging me, and said "Easy fix.  30 minute procedure."  (Oh, that's her time.  I'll need a wee bit more, as it is a surgery.)

Then, I got an appointment with a highly regarded electrologist for next week, to start my time in The Chair.  It's A Good Thing...
Earth my body, water my blood, air my breath and fire my spirit.

My personal transition path included medical changes.  The path others take may require no medical intervention, or different care.  We each find our own path. I provide these dates for the curious.
Electrolysis - Hours in The Chair: 238 (8.5 were preparing for GCS, five clearings); On estradiol patch June 2016; Full-time Oct 22, 2016; GCS Oct 20, 2017; FFS Aug 28, 2018; Stage 2 labiaplasty revision and BA Feb 26, 2019

Sunny today. Big fat knacker take out later as our kitchen sink /pipe work is borked.  And I really can't be bothered to sort it out tonight.  Oh the excuses for a pizza.

Yesterday I stopped by my work with my partner and had lunch.  We then walked around town for a bit and came back to the bar section of my work. I was looking as my profile pick shows and I was wearing a real bra as opposed to the sports bra I usually wear at work. I guess I'm more subtle when I work.
Anyway, when work ended tonight, one of my male coworkers was about to grab a barstool but stopped and offered it to me so it was only one other girl and myself sitting down. They all know I'm transgender and they are the coolest people I could hope to work with. It might just be the city is awesome , but these people make me so happy.

I figured work would be the same as usual, but they felt proud to ask me if I would close the rest of Deli + Bakery tonight since those associates had to go home early. Apparently they were soooo over their time heheheheee. Made me feel great they put that much trust in me to get the job done. Best part it wasn't a 1530-0230 Shift, but one of my few short ones at 1530-0030. I managed to get done at 0100 so I only had to stay late 30 extra minutes to get the job done. Made me feel so proud of myself and they were happy with my clean up/closing results! And then I found out I had THIS Saturday off! ^^

My wife mentioned I should tell our best friends and former neighbors what is going on (after they busted me on my nail polish). Made me pretty happy. Going to tell them next time Insee them. Will be the first time telling anyone besides my wife...
