Fun topic.  I am currently driving a 2007 Pontiac Solstice GXP which is a fun car for sunny Florida.  Cant figure out how to add picture with my phone but it is bright yellow with a black convertable top
As Brett Michaels said Every Night Has its Dawn :)

I can't post my cars either without the risk of outing myself, but trust me I'm a petrolhead at heart!
Liking the Subaru and The Integra on here! Jap all the way :3
I'll post my beasts someday :)

I've only had 1 Jap car and I couldn't have another, dunno why they just don't do it for me :(

I don't want to be seen as boring but it's hard when you tell people you own a Volvo haha. I'm trying to sweet talk the boss into letting me have a fun project car but it's not working! I'm thinking along the lines of a Z4M, 911 etc instead of changing the Tank as I really like it! I can't see it myself but a girl can dream haha xx

I should have mentioned, I used to be a professional detailer and I am very sad when it comes to cleaning the car!

I know how you feel. I used to be an auto trimmer, so any imperfection in the interior of my car drives me nuts!

Haha, love it :) Next payday I'm ordering a new centre console for the XC as it has some damage on it by the cupholders (was there when I got it) and it's grown really big and noticeable now so I'm upgrading to the 2011MY version which is shiny haha xx

2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer SS

I bought this a year ago and absolutely love driving it, although I spun a rod bearing so I had the engine rebuilt, bored it out and polished/ported the heads.  It came stock with a Corvette LS-2 that runs over 425HP and 400 ft. lbs. of torque now.  It also has a Corvette 5 link suspension with automatic air assist shocks that allow it to tow up to 7600lbs.

I bought it because I wanted something fun to drive that was clean and comfortable.  I needed something that could carry a fair amount of stuff, since I run a comic convention booth from time to time for some friends of mine.  I just took it on a 900mile road trip that was mostly winding mountain roads and it drove like a dream.

I recently purchased a 2016 Mazda Miata which is one of the best rides I've owned. Before that I drove Toyota Camry and similar cars. When I went to look at the car the price was rather high, told the sales person I would think about it. He came back and said, keep it overnight, I drove it that night and the following day, after that it was a keeper.

I joined a local Miata club which goes out driving every (or should I say most) Saturdays. A one hour destination usually turns into a two to four hour drive. Best part are the curvy roads as the car is truly made for this.

Would post a image but not capable yet.

Some more cool stuff coming up here :) Have to say I have driven a few Nissan Leaf's as there's 3 of them used at work and we have 2 ecotricity charge points to charge them so that'd make owning an electric car very cost effective if I could charge it at work, sadly I'm leaving there soon but if I were staying it'd make a convincing case for a Tesla haha but even a used Model S P85D is £60,000 still so it'd have to be a Model 3 and they are a while off yet...

In other news the Tank has killed it's second turbo so I'm using a courtesy car and thinking about moving it on soon, little before time but needs must sometimes :(

We love Laura's new MINI so a second Clubman could be on the cards but I'm thinking of the new shape 6 door variant which is a fair bit bigger than the old one we have now. See how the new job goes first I think :)

Keep them coming!!

So I sold my tank and have downgraded a little to this

A 2003 Audi A4 1.8T Sport Cabriolet. It'll do nicely until November when it's replacement is due as I have ordered a new Range Rover Evoque 2.0 Td4 SE Tech with some nice options ;) Just getting the finance together and arranging things :D In the meantime the Audi will do nicely I think ;)

I just noticed this thread.  Another Miata owner!

When chatting with my electrolyst, I mentioned that I was transitioning because I was a Miata owner. ;)  They said I had to turn in my man card, so I said OK.

One fun item... Since I am follicle challenged, I wear wigs.  That means that when driving with the top down, I've had to master the art of the classic head scarf.  I feel so... so Audrey Hepburn! :)

Earth my body, water my blood, air my breath and fire my spirit.

My personal transition path included medical changes.  The path others take may require no medical intervention, or different care.  We each find our own path. I provide these dates for the curious.

I drive a 1986 VW Westfalia camper van.  These old hippie vans have character and a surprising resale value similar to or greater than the original cost.  Kind of a cult thing as they are no longer made and highly prized.  They are way fun to drive but even more fun to camp in.  And then, my legs are my airbags and they are not terribly dependable rigs.  I recall having to get out and push it down main street, in the rain wearing a favorite new dress:'(

My wife drives a 2014 Subaru Crosstrek hybrid that gets great mileage for an awd.  Around here Subarus are considered the car of the lesbian nation :D

My truly favorite ride is a flaming purple Bike E recumbent bicycle that starts every time and has thousands of miles on her.  Once manufactured here in Eugene Oregon they are also no longer made. Recumbents are kind of like riding a lawn chair and bicycles are the most efficient human powered machine ever invented.  The best mileage, virtually no pollution, easy to park and a great way to see the world while smelling the roses. ;D

Haven't got a car but I ride a bad ass black Harley Davidson 883R Sportster. I think it's bad ass but Big Twin riders say it's a girl's bike! I bet no one told Sonny Barger he rode a girl's bike!

Why did you get rid of the 370Z Megan?

Had it on two year lease, then needed a big estate for kids...

I am currently driving 2016 Hyundai Avante (or Elantra in the N. America).

Before this, I drove Honda Civic and Toyota Sienna. My wife also drives a 2013 Avante, which made me choose 2016 Avante several months ago. We seek a practicality.

I have so many questions!! Why is there a Lada on that list and why did you get rid of the Jaaaaaag ;) I nearly bought a Jag instead of the Range Rover, an XF Sportbrake but the monthly deals are better on a new car and I don't need a car as big as the old Volvo/XF for the time being.

Keep them coming guys!!

My current cars are:

  • Lexus GS 450h (2013)
  • Mazda CX-9 (2010)

I will sell the Mazda when I don't need a dog and stuff carrier any longer.
The GS is something different, I would like to keep it, but I fear it will be a "until tax wil do us part"

Tax over hear for powerful cars is just crazy.  :(
Just in case you are curious how much tax you would pay go to the following page select "Auto" and put in your HP or KW. http://www.oeamtc.at/portal/motorbezogene-versicherungssteuer+2500+1603100
