I have my first endo appointment in 2 weeks. I started seeing a therapist in February, diagnosed with gender dysphoria. Took time to get a letter and have had this appointment since June. I'm getting nervous of the effect the hormones are going to have on me. I'm not going full time female anytime soon. I really want the feminine changes to occur, but scared that I'm not going to be able to control how fast the changes occur. My mom and aunts are all D and E cups. I'm hoping for nothing bigger than a B. I'm hoping for the next 2 years to be gender fluid, but don't want physical changes to force me full time sooner. My wife is OK with me being gender fluid but full time she'll have a problem with. My question is this, If I go on a medium transition dosage and the changes become too sudden, can I drop the dosage to slow down the changes?

As with anything else, regarding the effects of HRT, YMMV (your mileage may vary).  The best thing to do is discuss your concerns with the doctor and they can adjust your dosage to suit your needs.

My Mother is not small breasted by any means and on my father side the women...all of them...are racing for the back braces...I would be happy with nice proportional breasts then again my understanding is you don't really get much of a choice but I digress

I am sure if you felt the changes were too quick you could adjust the dose down. But maybe discuss with your Dr about going slower and over what timeline you would like things to happen. You may be able to tailor something to fit your need specifically.

There's no way of knowing how the hormones will respond, regardless of the dosage. Some women on low HRT get significant breast growth, some on high HRT get little breast development. It's not possible to tailor effects because everyone reacts differently. The good news is it won't happen overnight so you'll have time to work on a response and solution if you feel you are growing too much.
