My husband posted this picture to facebook and his aunt said I make an ugly woman.  :'(

I know it was a mean thing to say, but honest opinions are welcome.

Her treatment of family is the only ugly thing in this situation. I think you are lovely and are a super cute couple.

I don't see the ugly woman in that picture. Is she hiding behind the perfect family?

Sometimes relatives can't pull the sticks from their butts. The splinters that causes often make their digestive tract to work in reverse. Every hateful word they say will make them look worse in the end.

Because its genetic makeup is irregular, it quickly changes its form due to a variety of causes.

Well within the median range of generic female cuteness.

I really need to work on my vocabulary selection, spent so long proving I can think masculine, I can't even think of what would be appropriate reassurance.

You look to be a fine, confident woman.

Hey that response is fine with me! I haven't exactly had a traditional female upbringing either. Thanks for the support :)

Oh hell no!  You are an absolute doll!  Like, seriously.

Pity your husbands poor aunt.  The ugliness she sees all around her is emanating from deep inside her own heart.  DO NOT let her brand of ugliness infect your self esteem.  If ever you're in doubt, look me up, and I'll remind you again how freakin' pretty you are!

I think you're quite attractive actually and you're lucky your husband supports  you. As for me, i'm afraid that i'll be the ugly woman repelled by men. I feel so comfortable when dressed, but i don't like what i see in the mirror.

You look beautiful, that in-law is blind. Blind and stupid. Blind because she can't see how beautiful you are outside, and stupid because she can't see how beautiful you are inside too.

I don't imagine anyone being jealous of me but I have felt it mainly when I was younger in the past when looking at women...I don't know how common it is for women to get jealous looks from guys...probably not very...but I am certain I gave out a few unintentional ones along the way. Especially if they had what I thought of as "MY Look" which was the way I imagined I would be as a girl ;D

Such a sad statement to make of anyone, maybe she was looking at a mirror. Ugly attitude makes ugly person, my mother said this to me once 5 years ago whe I first tried to come out, needless to say I hid away again until now, I live in another country and do with my life, as I wish!
Do not listen to that crap, unfortunatly for most of us ther will be plenty more of it, but I'v begun looking past all that and with pride and confidence, they are left in my wake!

What a horrible thing to say and totally wrong!  You are a quite attractive young lady.

That is a terrible thing to say, but I would consider the source and ignore it

Blow it off, such comments are designed to elicit a response and who hasn't heard of the 'evil in-laws'?

If she ever comes at you in a public setting walk proud and give her the silent 'Talk to the Hand' response as you walk away

I would like to add my support to the others here.  It constantly saddens me how some people can be so negative about everything and everyone.  Even if you were ugly (which, for the record, I think quite the opposite), what possible benefit is there in just indiscriminately telling you?  We all face challenges wherever we are headed on the TG spectrum but supportive people (and there are plenty around) would give help and advice, not behave like this.

I do hope you can brush this off and draw strength from the universal opinion here that you are a very beautiful lady.

Just adding my support too.  That is a horrible and insensitive thing to say. Sorry you have to go through this. :(

Thanks so much everyone. You don't know how much I needed to hear this. I want to confident about who I am, whether people can tell I'm transgender or not, but it's hard. But you make it easier.

Hearing from so many people who accept who they are on the inside really reminded me of why I finally decided to transition. Trans is beautiful. Thank you!  :D
