I'm pleased with this picture even though I look like an old lady (I AM an old lady!) I worry about secondary characteristics, long hair, etc. In this picture the hat is holding back my hair but I still look female.

April 22, 2015, the day of my first face to face pass in gender neutral clothes and no makeup. It may be months to the next one, but I'm good with that!

Being transgender is just a phase. It hardly ever starts before conception and always ends promptly at death.

They say the light at the end of the tunnel is an oncoming train. I say, climb aboard!

Thanks :) I've never been ginger ginger no, the current colour is more of a strawberry blonde but in one of the wedding photos the photographer has put a sepia filter on it and it does make my hair look more ginger. I'm a very dull mousy brown naturally but I've always preferred having blonde hair. I fancy going grey but I'm not sure :D

Thank you both for the kind words!! I found the dress without too much drama... The shoes were another matter!...  I ordered 8 pairs and made my final selection Friday!!! The rest are getting shipped back tomorrow for return!!! Going with some strappy 4" heels!!!

Dress is absolutely gorgeous Ashley, with or without a shawl, I remember I wore a bridle shawl, all the preparation is so exciting, strappy heels, good for you.....

The dress came with a cute little lightweight shawl/wrap...I'll need it if our weather doesn't improve by next month! When it's hot everywhere else, we are fogged in!... September is usually gorgeous here though! Fingers crossed!

Those two photos are a kind of selfies, using a remote controller. I take dozens to pick up the best one.
I ask my friends or my wife to take photos for me, but they have no idea about photography.

One of my close friends is a professional photographer, and sometimes he takes photos for me.
But the priority is different. I am interested in the body line, while he is very picky on color and tone.
He gave me several photoshopped photos of me, and I don't like them, as he made me look more masculine by emphasizing the muscles. But he promised to take my bikini photos within one or two weeks. He asked me to wear white bikini sets.

A clue on selfie is that I never make a big smile in selfies. The following is a photo my wife took for me yesterday.



And the dermatologist recommends me not to make a big smile frequently, as it will increase wrinkles in my face  :-\

Loving the shorter dress on you as well! I wanted something longer to cover up my fairly small heels as I am 5 inches taller than Laura who is 5'2'' so had nice big shoes on!! It's not fair haha. Actually had the official photos through today so will go through them all later. Enjoy your day, it's an amazing thing xx

Hey Sascha!!!...

Happily my guy is tall enough that I can get away with 4" heels and there will be some other women in my range ...5'9"... So I won't look too crazy tall in the pics!!!... I'm jealous of your castle venue!!!... Not to many of those this side of the pond!!! :)

Damn it haha, I'm not tall at 5'7'' but next to someone who's 5'2'' I am ;) The official photos were done in Caernarfon Castle but the rest of the day was hosted by a local hotel. I have a couple of images from the official photographer to show off :D



That one we're having big in the living room because we love it!!



That one makes my hair look orange but it's still a nice image. Tbf we were spoilt for choice with castles locally, living on the North Wales coast there's 4 of them within sensible distance and we chose Caernarfon because it's the nicest IMO and Prince Charles and Lady Diana were married there in 1981 (28th July actually, our original date but we moved it to 1st August instead) so there's a lot of kudos to that castle :D
