Do you know how many lost limbs, infectious disease deaths, suicides, etc would be prevented if people would just... go to the doctor when you're worried your body has done something odd.  If nothing is wrong, he'll poke you, say, "meh", you're fine, you just had a x or y; have a nice day, pay at the cashier.    Mine did that with my wrist, grabbed it, said, "push against my hand, again, again. good.  It'll recover in another few weeks, no worries.  shooo"

Or take poison ivy, tons of OTC "cures", meant to make it stop itching basically till it goes away naturally; which can take a while, and cost you a bundle, though it doesn't seem bad at $10 a pop; or you could go to the doc, he'll say, "oooh yuck, <taps on tablet screen>, get that out of my office, pickup your script and follow the directions."  3 days or so later, its mostly gone, finish the card, hallelujah!   cost, easily half the OTC method.  speed, OTC not even in the same league.

Seriously.  GO.  The doc won't mind (unless you're making a bi-weekly habit of it...)

Hi Roseyfox
If your on HRT that is very normal. I've been on HRT for 16 months and they have gone through several growth spurts. They get tender each time. This will go on for a couple of years or longer. Enjoy, it means there growing!

okiedokie thank you for letting me know that. I was reading so many timelines and never saw anything about the random breast growth and it scared me a bit.

I was just there last week and i don't want to pay the outrages fees for a visit. I don't have insurance and not working the best job the fact i can transition is because i found a really good doctor that works with me. That why i wanted to know if this is a urgent matter or can wait a month a half.

While what you are describing sounds normal, standard precautions apply. My doctor sent me for a mammogram at 9 months into HRT (they were barely big enough to squish into the machine) and taught me how to self examine. Never hurts to be safe.

Understandable, not judging or anything.   You can only do what you can do, and we all have various limitations that we have to work around.

Personally, I'd go with the thought above, I'd say, "yipee" and carry on.

That sounds normal; I had tenderness and visible breast growth within the first week. (Enough that I couldn't have gone out topless anymore - they looked like female breasts.) The "growth spurts" aspect is also very true. I think the body does a lot of quiet preparation during periods when it seems like nothing is happening, and then all of a sudden there's big changes.

I have been on hrt for 2 months now. I started noticing growth at 3 weeks. It has been slow, but there is enough there to prevent me from going topless, not that I really liked the whole no shirt thing.. I find myself wearing baggy t shirts now.

I am approaching the 1 year mark since my decision to transition, and I am celebrating my 6th month on hrt.

I can go topless still i have a concave chest so it hilarious because me chest was sunken in 2 inches compared to how far my ribs stuck out now my chest looks normal and flush if not a little bigger with my ribs the only female thing about my chest are the nipple.

Thanks, it's been 7 months now, I have had to start wearing bras as of 2 months ago. I have developed to about an A cup so far, and with having a barrel chest, they tend to look a bit bigger. I am loving the progress so far.

This all sounds similar to my experience.
