I've almost passed several times before, but when I talked they'd say sorry and call me ma'am. Today I had to run a couple errands, and at the first place, which was a home improvement store,  I got called ma'am, but the clerk was being a jerk all the way around. However, the other two places I got called sir even after talking.

I've noticed in the last week or so that my voice is getting deeper than it was, but I didn't think it was deep enough to pass yet.

The voice problem seems to really common, though... it's the thing that may be hardest to change easily.
