I had the ultimate pleasure of having my first Endo appointment the other day.  My Dr is amazing.  Started on estradiol patch and spiro that afternoon.  So my curiosity has me wondering.  After having my t level checked it is in the low 300's (I am 38 yo)  After looking around at a few sites I see that it is on the lower side.  I understand depending on dosage and of course everyone is different, but with it being low could my changes from spiro be quicker, and or maybe not as noticable?  It obviously wont take as long to bring down to proper levels correct?

Rhonda, your T level is about where mine was after the first month on spiro, so you've got a head start.  It may mean you need less spiro daily long term, something between you and your endocrinologist, but I'd guess it is neutral to good news for your HRT treatment going forward.

So you've got a good running start!   Congratulations on this new step in your life.

My personal transition path included medical changes.  The path others take may require no medical intervention, or different care.  We each find our own path. I provide these dates for the curious.
