Hey Noah,
Sadly, once you start T and the physical changes become imminent you might be able to progress in the company more quickly than you would have as a female :/ Which is sad in that, misogyny is still a very real and terrible thing, but ultimately good for you lol. I'm a firm believer in having important conversations face to face. Look your manager in the eye and exude confidence. If you appear uncomfortable or lacking in confidence about what you're saying, people are likely to sense that, see it as a weakness/sorespot, and then treat you accordingly. But if you're confident, they will most likely take it in stride and respect you. That's true for a lot of things, not just having to come out at work.
I was unemployed when I started T and was three months in whrn I found work. So luckily for me, my voice had already begun to drop and my face looked a little more masculine. I also live stealth and don't tell any new people I meet about this. When I was pre/early T I passed very well and no one ever gave me a second look (until I told them my age lol). Now that I'm 3+ years in, no one has a clue. You'll get there buddy. Be confident in yourself. You are worth just as much as everyone else in this world. I hope this was a little helpful. Good luck and let us know how it goes.
