Our 10 year anniversary today - and my partner fell asleep at 19:00. Had to laugh.
The nursery that told social services that had "conclusive proof" I hit my daughter has been closed down with immediate effect - they initially refused to co-operate with social services, and on investigation, they found it was all claptrap.  Add to the fact they took extra funding to support our child with Special Educational Needs and non of it went to her benefit or her care plan..... well the words "disaster", "mismanagement" and "irresponsible" were thrown their way.

Victory tastes like a nice straight up bourbon.

First time out in public in a size 8 boot cut jeans... With purple finger nails. Confused a bunch of people who only know me in male mode. Did not care to explain much... Caught a guy staring at my back until he realized what is going on. The look on his face was priceless.

While my current cloth could go both ways, I did get coffee in full girl outfit including ballet flats this morning... For the very first time. What a rush of happy feeling...

Daughter finished her pudding and decided to wee in the bowl. Not ideal but we laughed.  She then ran off and poop'd in her potty. That's a massive step for her, so massive cheers all round for her "out the box thinking" for toilet training.

So when your daughter pees it's "out of the box"? Probably natural.
April 22, 2015, the day of my first face to face pass in gender neutral clothes and no makeup. It may be months to the next one, but I'm good with that!

I now have a job plus the registration day to pay for my barbering course starts tomorrow at my local college. I'm still cautious but it's looking like my life is finally moving forward.

Yeah some skip the potty days and go straight for the toilet, it's a big jump forward for her, so many a fun days exploring what she wants to do at the moment. We'll roll with it whatever way it goes.

While grocery shopping at the mall today, we decided to drop in to the Sears clearance outlet to see if they had anything irresistable.  How about yer basic black skirt. regularly $30, marked down to $15, further marked down to $10, and then 2/3 off at the cashier.  A good quality basic wardrobe item for $3.45 including tax!  Irresistable!

I posted something else in the other "happy" thread, but just now, scrolling, Tapatalk presented me with the picture of Randi and I at the Mets game on LGBT night. Remembering that makes me happy.

It's my oldest son's third birthday today. He has an obsession with garbage trucks and was very excited to get a loud toy garbage truck. To top things off today was garbage day and he got to see a real garbage truck. Now I'm lying down with him as I try to get him to sleep... heheh scratch that. He started crawling all over me.  ;D

I celebrated my best friend's birthday with him. We played music together, watched movies, and ate our body weight in cake, ice cream, and taquitos. It was a good day.

I am very happy today...I have 2 daughters, 1 in Orlando and 1 in Southeast Georgia. Both safe after the hurricane that just went through Florida and South Georgia.

The damn Foley catheter is out, and my own plumbing is working again.  I know, I know... Still, it makes me happy.

Heh I don't know why I missed your comment before. My oldest son has done stuff like that. The other day he took his training pants off, peed on the floor, then told me he wanted to 'jump in the muddy puddle". XD I think he watches too much Peppa Pig sometimes.

Earlier today my son and my younger son (the 1 year old) both sat in my lap and started making noises similar to Gollum from Lord Of The Rings. When they do random things like that it's like the perfect distraction from dysphoria.

A comment on another thread made my day today too. I grew up with emotionally abusive parents and my partner can be emotionally abusive too. I grew up believing that I was stupid, despite many people telling me otherwise (even my partner and my parents-- when they aren't mad. Every time they get mad though, they'll flip and start calling me stupid, idiot and other names). It's really helpful and relieving when people don't repeat those awful things. It gives me hope that I do have potential and I could possibly make a difference one day.
