Yesterday was about the best time of my life, at least as a girl.  After dropping off my daughter at her Grandma's house to be watched, Shari and I went to my support group. While there, we met a couple there that we hadn't seen before and will from here on be refered to as "the couple".  We hit it off really well.  At the support group, we found out about a caberet show at a bar that a bunch of people were going to.

After the support group, we went back home and changed our clothes into something better for going to a bar.  I decided to change into a jean mini skirt and a gold top that worked well with my natural cleavage.  This was the first time I had gone out without breastforms and it felt great.  I felt very sexy and was feeling great when we were leaving.

We arrived at the bar and found our group and sat down.  By the way, this bar is oriented towards gays, lesbians, and transgendered.  We watched the show and it consisted of drag queens, transsexuals, gays, lesbians, crossdressers, and even a gender bender.  It was very fun watching and we had a few drinks and I ordered some fried mushrooms.  After a while, we saw "the couple" sitting in the back and said hi to them.  After a table cleared, they made their way closer to us.

I had one of the weirdest bathroom experiences ever.  I went to go use the ladies room (large room with 1 toilet) and there was another woman in there just finishing.  After seeing that, I backed out and was apologizing, but she was getting off the toilet and she said it was ok and to come in.  I don't think she clocked me, or she just didn't care.  I came in and went over to the toilet when she got off and realizing I still had genital differences, kind of pulled down my skirt and sat at the same time and acted like I didn't need to hold anything.  We talked for a little bit and then she left.  I quickly ran to the door and locked it and finished up.

After a while, one of the people that was working with the Caberet show, came over and started talking to Shari.  Turns out Shari was friends with this person and went to school with them in Junior High and High School.  It also turns out that this person owns the whole bar and show.  After the show was over, we talked for a while with "the couple".  Shari went off and was talking with the owner.  After a while, I went to find her and she was in the smoking area, which is outside and freezing.  I had a guy out there put his jacket around me for the first time.  After chatting for a while outside, I needed to get back to "the couple", so I gave the guy his jacket back and thanked him.  I chatted some more with "the couple" and then decided to close my tab at the bar.  When I was doing that, I had a guy buy me a drink for the first time.  After closing my tab, I went back to Shari and talked some more.  The owner (mind you, he's a gay dragqueen in drag at this point) was going back in the bar around that time and wanted a kiss from me, so I did, but just a little to the side of the mouth.  That was the first time I had kissed a male that wasn't family, especially as a girl.  Anyway, the rest of the night went pretty smoothly.  At one point I was dancing as a girl in public for a while for the first time and was having a blast doing it.

Like I said, I had the best time last night.  I really felt like a woman and started crying tears of happiness and probably some of loss when I realized that being a girl is the right thing to do and how many years I had missed out on with being an anti-social male.  I definitely need to be getting out more.  I also know I want to get more clothes like I wore last night.  I looked like a young woman and was really happy with my overall appearance.

Glad you had such a great time Melissa.  It's good to start off in friendly environments, it lets you build your confidence.  On the bathroom thing... Lift your skirt don't pull it down.  It all my visits to the "Ladies" I have never seen women pull their skirt down :)

Really, there needs to be some sort of instruction manual or guidebook for us latebloomers, full of all the stuff we didn't get to learn at mom's/sisters' knees.  :icon_inyourface:

I had a jean mini-skirt on and it was much easier to pull down, rather than attempt to life up.  Fram what I know about skirts (according to my wife) is if it's easier to lift, you do that, but if it's easier to pull down, you do that.

Hi Messia,
Glad you had a good time. I know how you feel it is great to be treated like the woman you are.
That is when I feel complete, when I fell right. I'm sure glad you got to enjoy being a really woman that other excepted. Go girl, you deserve it.
As far as the skirt thing I'd just act natural when I raised it or lower it like it was something I did all the time.
:)
