Hi everyone

So I'm rita, I have been lurking on here for 2 or more years as the title said, the questions answered by your posts have been a massive help to me, especially in dark times.

I am 36 years old.

My question is, I have been on hrt for 5 months purely estrogen patches no blockers, I was told by my doctor that this would work for me because I wanted my transition to be slow as I wasn't ready to come out for family reasons.

But I have had huge changes already, my body hair has practically gone, libido is lower, much lower, my ejaculation  is completely clear and watery, and my breasts have developed at an astounding rate, nothing to a professionally measured B cup.

I'm happy but also worried, that I won't be able to hide it for much longer.

I am wondering if  need to ask about intersex conditions because of my reaction to the hormones or is it considered a normal amount  or development?

Thanks

Rita

I've only tried low dose E myself for a couple of months, but even then things were starting to bloom. Everyone reacts differently, the best bet might be to talk with your doctor and reduce your dose, or you may have to move up you plans.
I don't think an intersex condition would effect sensitivity to E, they generally impact T sensitivity if anything, but I'm no doctor 😉.

Welcome to Susan's Place. People with low testosterone levels or a natural sensitivity to estrogen sometimes find that estrogen acts as a blocker and they maintain relatively hight estrogen levels off a modest dosage. It will help to know what your total estrogen, estradiol levels and testosterone levels were before you started HRT and what they are now.

When you start on HRT, it's anybodies guess as to what will happen. You may hope for the best but should expect the unexpected as it sometimes happens. There are a couple of links you might be interested in and let me know if there is anything I can help you with.
