Bras and slopey shoulders

I am having troubles with bra fittings/staying in place. The shoulder strap on my left shoulder keeps slipping throughout the day. If I tighten the strap it tends to stay in place but then the bra rides up and gets stuck with half of my breast hanging out.

I am a 34 B at the moment, fill up the entire cup (yay!). The best trick I've found is to use a camisole to keep everything in place.. but living in Arizona those tend to get wet and sticky in the summer heat.

Maybe I need to go for a bra fitting or something?

Thanks!

If you want to meassure you can use this calculator http://www.brasizecalculator.tk/
It is going to be better than the type of meassuring they do in stores.

To find what kind of bra that is best for your boob-type, this site is great http://www.herroom.com/know-your-breasts/Questions.aspx

The strap sliding down is a common problem for many people wearing bras, though.

I find this an annoying occurrence too although I haven't found a good way to prevent it. sometimes straps slide off and other times they don't. **shrugs**

If it helps at all, my sister has slopey shoulders and she uses those Racer Back Bra Clips. Might work? Good luck.

I have noticed that if I'm in a sitting position there tends to be a lot more slack in the straps. Things get worse of o slouch or have to bend over or reach.

I'll have to try the measuring. Thx!

you can hook a strap (and buy them) that goes about an inch below the neck on the back that hooks between the straps to stop this :)

Wanted to bump this thread with an update.

The best option I've found is to use racerback bras. No more straps falling off and no more digging into the shoulders to keep straps in place.

In 2015, J C Penny had a line, if I'm reading my faded lettering correctly, called "Arribrielle" . . .  their gray 425 was an answer to my prayers; a bit padded - but as my Right breast was mutilated during puberty by a surgeon preforming a gynocomastic tissue removal at my parents behest - imho - a P E R F E C T solution - with the li'l built in 'racer-back' clippy et' all!

best of luck

You might try a strapless bra. A 34B should be able to go strapless easily enough.

Good idea! I'll definitely be giving that a shot, thanks!
