Quote from: T.K.G.W. on October 29, 2016, 08:43:30 PMI haven't seen any of it yet. I noticed the 10x oilier skin immediately and expected more spots, but they appear under control again now I use tea tree wash daily. I have a habit of rubbing germolene on spots and sometimes just on the face in general, twice a week or so. Keeps them 90% gone.
Quote from: Stone Magnum on October 29, 2016, 08:58:53 PMHow long have you been on T? I got oily as **** the first three months. Not really much in the way of acne (on my face, anyway), but I was grossly oily. My fiancée kept buying me these oil absorbing sheets to try and help. I could just lay one across my skin and it would look clear and wet because it would be so saturated. She could've rubbed her whole body with it and not made a mark. But yeah. I had to carry them and use them probably every 2 hours or I looked like a McDonald's deep fryer. Then one day, I woke up and... nothing.
Quote from: groudon18 on November 01, 2016, 01:08:53 AMI did get more back acne (and acne in general, but not much) my doctor had once contemplated if regularly binding added to the issue; if you bind daily/constantly it might add to the problem a bit
Quote from: T.K.G.W. on October 31, 2016, 09:45:41 PMUnder 1 month.I've always been naturally pretty oily. At least on my face. For the last 10 years or so I'd gotten into the habit of never touching or scratching my face except to wash it to stop getting anything in the pores. I'll be really surprised if it decides to quite being oily now. I think I'm just a genetic greasebucket.Yeah my SO is very un-oily too. One of the indicators is the kinda ear wax people have apparently. If they have soft oily ear wax they probably sweat more and have oilier skin genetically. If they have that crumbly type ear wax, chances are they'll sweat little and have less greasy faces. I have that soft ear wax which makes it very easy to clean away with a Q-tip, but I do sweat more and my face is not far off feeling like a chip wrapper atm.
Quote from: Mal on January 03, 2017, 01:44:30 AMI got facial acne the first week on T but didn't have any bacne until being on T for 4 months. All the sudden it became a huge problem and still is. I'm really hoping it's a temporary problem because nothing seems to really help it.
Quote from: RaptorChops on December 21, 2016, 11:49:27 AMI've been dealing with bacne ever since I started T. My first few months it was way out of control but it was mainly on my lower back above my butt crack. It's chilled out a tiny bit but not a lot. I've been trying everything to get rid of it and right now I'm using African Black Soap. I've seen it clear up a tiny bit but not a whole lot. I'll see how it goes with continued use.
Quote from: Kylo on May 02, 2017, 07:59:04 PMYep, I got it now. Not severe, but we're talking there always being at least 1 painful zit somewhere I can't easily reach to annihilate it. Drenching myself in salt water (i.e. the sea) in the morning every few days might be helping but otherwise it's difficult to even get to some of the areas to apply anything. I guess I could ask someone to rub some stuff on my back. It's mostly on the spine for some reason. What usually keeps that in check IIRC is Germolene or something similar rubbed in every so often. It's definitely the excess oil, nothing else... has to be since none of my other habits have changed and I was pretty spot free on the back my whole life. Luckily it doesn't bother me much unless something happens to dig into a sore part.
