O

Hello

Pardon me if my post is in the wrong place

I'm a trans man from a middle eastren conservative country. I've submitted my name/gender change case almost two years ago, so far I l'm lossing my case due to "chromosomes".
I must make an objection (scientific objection) to prove that chromosomes do not determine sex/gender. In addition I need an expert to explain one of my chromsomes results because they forced me to do more than one!
I've collected some information and cases that might support me, but I need trans friendly specialist in genetics or at least a doctor who can support me in this matter.

Please tell me if you know anyone

Thank you

We have no idea which country you live in and the cultures of the countries in that area are drastically different from each other. There is either existing law on the books which you will be unable to change without a major effort or you might be going against a religion that is relatively inflexible. Medical care isn't up to western standards or you wouldn't be facing this in the first place so geneticists may be few an far between. If you insist on attempting this, you may need to see if a teaching medical university can provide you with a name.

I suspect they would not take the word of a western doctor and if they did, you would most likely need to pay fees and travel expenses for somebody to testify. Without more information it's not even possible to google information that might be useful but you could try "your country transgender" or "your country geneticist"
