It has some good information about wigs.  Apparently Ebay can be a good place.
The one I'm wearing in my avatar I got here:

https://www.amazon.com/MelodySusie-Dark-Brown-Curly-Wig/dp/B008GR4L18/ref=sr_1_4_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1485064956&sr=8-4&keywords=wig

I cut it to a more appropriate length for me. I wish I would have cut it about 2" longer tho.

I would suggest you find your local transgender support group. I go to one about once a week down at my local gender identity center.

First therapist visit is tomorrow...I was going to go as Jaime but I believe James will be more comfortable since this is also a regular doctors office.
Jaime can wait a session until I feel the office out.

Ladies, I am ecstatic, this visit went so well and the therapist was so welcoming and she put me at ease immediately! She said I was displaying all the proper signs stemming from my childhood to now. I just opened right up and told her everything except my passwords..lol. I feel Fantastic! We booked six more sessions at one per week and by the end she was giving me makeup tips. She was telling me specific brands and that I needed a base on my eyelids before I used eyeshadow so it would show up better and stay on longer (didnt know that). She went on telling me that some of her previous girls had exceptional experiences with makeovers at Nordstrom. She said to call ahead and explain that Im transgendered and needed a makeover who did they think could serve me the best. That way I can ask specifically for that person and not stand around. I'm just overjoyed. She knows about you girls too...I just raved about Susan's Place and you girls! ; )

That's great that your therapy session went well. The right therapist can really help out. For me there have been so many conflicting emotions along my way. Especially after telling my wife. This is one of the biggest things to deal with.

A lifetime of depression and repressed emotions is nothing more than existence. I for one want to live now not just exist!

We discussed that as well (a little) I told her that I was going to tell her within the next week or two because I didnt want it to drag out over several months.
Once im on hormones and starting electrolysis she will have to know because ill be spending $$$.

My second therapy session is Monday and I'm looking forward to that. My therapist gave me two books "Transitions" by Mara Christine Drummond it was very enlightening. Once I come out to my wife if she's willing I'll give her the book as well. She also gave me "The Transgender Companion" by Jennifer Steele which is next on my list to read.
I have my first Doctors appointment for HRT on Tuesday.
Already lost roughly 8 lbs on my diet and im starting a gym for weight loss on Monday as well.
Moving forward is exciting.
