Hey guys!

I've been having off and on muscle soreness and was wondering if anyone else has experienced this? I've tried looking around the internet but I keep finding the wrong thing. It often talks about injection soreness and that's not it. It's not bad in random places but for some reason my upper left arm feels sore and you can actually feel the muscle just above the elbow. I saw somewhere that it might be a low protein issue. Is that what's up?

I'd ask your doctor about it at your next visit. Could really be a number of things if it isn't limited to your injection site.

I experience a lot of random body aches and pains, but that's all attributed to fibromyalgia.

Thanks for the reply :)
Yeah I've been wondering what's going on but it didn't start till about midway through my first month on T so I figured I'd see if any other guys on the forum have had muscle aches and such.

I'm trying to remember if I experienced that early on but it's not coming to me. Does it feel like that soreness you get after working out or something else?

My good friend got exactly what you describe, a muscle soreness, and I think for him it went away when he had been on his dose a while.. I also experienced like... I want to say it was like my muscles would get stuck tense. For example I'd be on the phone for a while and when I'd lower my arm, my bicep would KILL. It would be after I held the muscle contracted for a while. It happened when I upped my dose and it went away once I established the dose.

I'm on gel and when I first started adminstering it it made the muscles in my arms sore where I had rubbed the gel in. It still happens sometimes when I put the gel on later than I should do. I haven't heard of any other guys experiencing this; just injection soreness like you've mentioned.
They/them pronouns preferred.

Yeah, I use gel but it's never caused any sensations or muscle issues. Is it possible you are allergic to the gel itself?

I have degenerative disc issues and for me the shoulder and arm soreness is actually nerves getting pinched in my neck. Learning various stretching exercises has helped.

Yeah definitely in the bicep area. It's good to know that others have had some issues :) If my doctor or I figure out what's going on I'll definitely update!
