Ladies I agree with Vervain, gorgeous pics as well as great choices on your individual attire.
Doctor's appt today for hrt, if in as many months (as each of you) I could be so lovely I would be ecstatic!

Congratulations! I am certain that you will do very well on hormones. The trick is patience. It's quite gradual and you're always going to be the last one to notice what it's done for you. But rest assured that it is happening! :)

Honestly I am starting to see what ya'll (I'm southern that's my excuse - y'all DOES not Compute!) see in dresses.

I'm scared because my Mom called me up the other day. She asked me what dress I was gonna wear for Church on Easter Sunday. OH hot cakes! >.<; I'm not a fan of those LOL can I just not be myself LMAO. Everyone always looks fabulous even in Derby! :P

HRT is doing wonderful things for you, and it will just keep getting better and better..

Embracing your real self takes time, and so do the hormones, and so does learning to make the most of what we have..

But you are lucky, you have a very girlish body already, a pretty face, and you are getting started young, so there is so much less to unlearn as you go.

Here is a shot I really like. Again, not current, and probably pre-op, and filtered a bit to keep things stealthy, but you can at least see me in my eyes, the real me, though I can still see some sadness there, too. That sadness is now long gone, I am happy to say..



I haven't taken a new face pic in about two years. The one I use in my avatar was last summer, but of course, my face is not visible...

We all have those insecurities, but your gonna have to trust us 'older' folks here. Take our words with a 'big' grain of salt. Your body will slowly develop around those insecurities, and one day you will realize your body has drastically changed.

PRO TIP: If you feel like you don't pass MTF's go into the Men's Restroom, and FTM's go into the Women's Restroom. IF for any reason you hear screams, angry gestures, or mass confusion... Chances are you Pass very well! I know this will work because apparently it worked for me. In fact, I was asked if I was a prostitute.... Not sure how I should feel about that.

IDK where to say it, I just wanted to convey to you all my gratitude, you have been so kind and so inspiring and I have learned a lot about myself and how to move forward! I've misplaced my mascara, got bumpy skin from ingrown hairs and no amount of dry shampoo can bring some emergency-life into my hair.. But you all made me feel so pretty, and so confident and so much braver than I was just a couple days ago. I owe you my courage!

I'm heading into town, gona get me some drinks and maybe make a friend or two if I'm lucky, thank you all SO much for being such an amazing inspiration and support <3 ..Biggest smile I can manage for all of you!

Floof, you have girl teeth!!  Seriously.  I never paid attention to it until my awesome dentist pointed out that mine were male teeth and did an enameloplasty for free on me.  Now, I am aware of it, but it yet another one of those subconscious things we notice about people.  So, good for you!  You're also pretty....just sayin'. :)
