Most affordable surgeons?

It really pains me to say it, but I'm having doubts about who I had been settled on for months (Cardenas). I'd like to look into other surgeons who are similarly priced. Is anyone aware of who some of the more affordable surgeons are?

I really struggle to find cost estimates online, especially up to date ones, so I'm turning to the forums here and hoping some of you can point out some options to me. I've thought about facial team and DiMaggio, but DiMaggio seems substantially more expensive than Cardenas. I really just cannot seem to get a handle on this.

What I'm interested in getting:
Forehead Reconstruction
Chin/jaw Contouring
Rhinoplasty
Lip Lift
MAYBE fat infusion to the cheeks (implants terrify me)

Cardenas charges $17,670 for this. I could maybe go as high as $23,000.

Ideas?
Why do I always write such incredibly long posts?

The price doesn't seem bad.  I came up with 20K as an estimate.

There is also quality.  I'd read more about each surgeon's work here on Susans.

I know that Dr Z will do excellent work when there is a lot to be done.

Hugs,

Jen
To move forward is to leave behind that which has become dear. It is a call into the wild, into becoming someone currently unknown to us. For most, it is a call too frightening and too challenging to heed. For some, it is a call to be more than we were capable of being, both now and in the future.

I was quoted under 20k for everything with DiMaggio, he really isn't that much more expensive BUT take into account the travel to Buenos Aires and it's a bit more of a complicated trip, plus I think he does his surgeries in two phases, so I believe the stay in Argentina will be one month vs 2 weeks in Guadalajara, but otherwise these two surgeons are comparable in price -  Dr. D is experienced with type III forehead work, whereas Cardenas and whether or not he even does type III (despite advertising it) is in question as of late. We can't find anyone to come forward that has undergone type III forehead reconstruction with Cardenas and you can't find ANYONE , ANYWHERE on the web who has... not one...

Stay away from FEMILIFE in Peru, they butchered a woman from Canada recently who has been posting on Susan's about her experience. FEMILIFE as a low cost option should be taken off the table by anyone and everyone. Go elsewhere!

T-Change and the new surgeon Javier Rossi is an option but there are not a lot of testimonials or results out there. The few there are on their web site look pretty decent though, especially for the price which I "think" is around 13k at the moment for full FFS.

^This^ Sometimes you really do get what you pay for, and you need it done right the first time.  You don't want to spend your life having regrets and revisions and then end up looking like Michael Jackson.

Also, sometimes less is more.  I want to look like me in the end, not Barbie.   I understand that some of us get screwed more than others with testosterone poisoning and need more aggressive work done to get us there, but some of us don't really need "the works".

Dr Harrison Lee [Beverly Hills U.S], Dr Bart van de ven [Belgium], Dr Van Deussen [Holland], also you could try the UK surgeons, the very experienced Dr Brian Musgrove[Manchester], Dr Inglefield [London], as they are not too expensive. All these surgeons could be within, or very near to your maximum price. I would not recommend Femilife or Cardenas [I refuse to call the latter a Doctor]. The only unknown quantity out there is Dr Rossi of T change, their prices at the moment are very competitive. I hope this helps, good luck.

This below was last price 3 months ago and to do in ONE surgery. Dr MDM divide the surgery only when you need to do FFS + Face Lift or FFS with Breast surgery or other.....but when you need a complete classic FFS is just ONE surgery. Also he ONLY required 2 weeks after surgery.

Medical Package for FFS

•       Forehead remodeling with osteotomies, shaving contouring and bone reconstruction.
•       Orbital rim remodeling with osteotomies & shaving.
•   Hairline correction (up to 1,5 cm advancement and/or corners smoothing out) (*)
•   Brow lift (*)
•   Feminizing Rhinoplasty
•   Upper lip lift with or without filler(*)
•   Jaw feminization (lateral ridge reduction for tapering, from chin to rear end)
•   Chin reduction in height and width with remodeling & reconstruction.
•   Medical fees and costs including general anesthesia and up to 1 night hospitalization (Standard general anesthesia is included. Patients who need
special or unusual anesthetic drugs might be charged for them)
•   Translators in the hospital to communicate with the nurses.
•   All medical appointments and checkups.
•   Bilingual assistant + transportation for your arrival/and  most medical event
•   Free cellphone for you to be in contact with us.
•   The Presurgical test  should be in your country during the month of your surgery date & send it to us for evaluation before your trip.

TOTAL PRICE: USD 18,000

Hugs.

Info on UK surgeons.

Although great surgeons, the UK surgeons are not inexpensive, they are more along the lines of Spiegel and Dr Z, I can only assume you might have gotten it all mixed up since their prices are in pounds, 1Pound equals about 1.70 dollars as of today. Mr. Musgrove is in Manchester (where I live) but with a mere consultation at £250 (almost 500 dollars) i decided to skip him. There are girls out there with great results who have gone to him tho, Mr. Inglefield at London bridge surgery in London I am less familiar with but, I am certain they are not cheap. Their prices for regular procedures like BA, etc are up there with other high end clinics in the UK, LBPS (London Bridge aplastic Surgery) has a special section on FFS with a YouTube video of a girl who underwent ffs with them who looks great. There is also Dr. Caroline Mills (The Face surgeon), I think her prices are similar to the other surgeons, I know she charges about£8500 (pounds ladies, about 15000 dollars) for chin and jaw alone, but those prices may lower if it's a full FFS, all the girls who are not concerned with an extra few grand should go to them if they are local or happier to keep their procedures within British soil, or if money isn't an issue and you're simply looking for quality then you may want to inform yourself on them, but to me another5-8 k pounds (do your math x1.7 dollars per pound) is just not worth staying within the country for me. All the girls who are looking for quality work and not at all worried about price should check them out.

Thanks for that calicarly, I did phone them at the end of last week, and thought that the tentative quote that I forced out of them [they like people to go for a costly consultation before they give you a price], did seem a bit low for this kind of surgery in the U.K, I think they were trying to entice me into booking and paying for a consultation, which I nearly did there and then. The games these people play with us.

Thank you for all of the replies. I think surgeons in Zukowski's price range are a bit too expensive for me. DiMaggio's prices sound great, but I'm a bit worried about his work on the mid and lower thirds of the face; I haven't seen many results that appeal to me in that regard. Has anyone encountered any price quotes from Facial Team? I'm rather fond of their work.

I'm also wondering if surgeons overseas can be negotiated with or offer payment plans. I have no issue with working for the money to pay, but I do have an issue with continuing to delay FFS. At current, I'm planning to save up around $17,000 - $20,000 (I'm a bit more than half way so far) and then get a loan if necessary, but a payment plan with the surgeon would be interesting to me as well.
Why do I always write such incredibly long posts?

I have an idea after talking with my daughter, and it might be a better way of going about getting the best results. I just have to look into all the prices and feasibility of such a plan. I will hopefully start up a new thread about it in the next few days. It was something I was thinking about before I planned surgery with an FFS surgeon, but everybody I spoke to on the forums foo fooed it. Now with everything that has happened to me in my quest to look feminine, it doesn't seem like such a bad idea.

I don't suppose you know how much it would be with Dr Di Maggio just for forehead and hairline correction?
  •

anjaq

I got EXACTLY the same quote by Dr MDM - can it be that he has some sort of one-szie-fits-all price and if you dont use all the options it does not change it? In his letter he even had adams apple removal and cheek implants listet which I definitely do not need...

Last week I had a quote from Dr Bart v D Veen and I was surprised it came down to only 1000 EU, which is maybe $13000 or so? But he did not want to set back my forehead and not do rhinoplasty, so it may be why it was cheaper.

  •

Sybil

I would really like to know if Dr. DiMaggio retains that price with the addition of a canthopexy. I'm actually pretty set on going to him at this point, I love his work, and that's really the one question that's left in my mind.

afaik only what is in the list is included, even if one decides to not do it all. additional items are extra. he wrote me the proce for adams apple removal an mentioned cheek implants in the template part of the proposal, I do not need either but they seem to be extra

  •

Sybil

Do you mind sharing what price he suggested to include the adam's apple & cheek implants, Anjaq?

I got exactly thje same prices. In my case however no rhinoplasty and listing but instead jaw and chin.
Was this also a Type I forehead work or does he charge the same for Type I and Type III?

Did anyone have FFS done by Caroline Mills or Mr Inglefield?
