Interesting thread, I've been wanting to ask questions on this and specifically about Spiro. Years ago I was on high dose E & P and if anything libido went up. This year going back on low dose E & P plus Spiro libido is near zero so I was wondering if maybe the Spiro? To try to test that theory I stopped the Spiro (sshhh don't tell my doctor) for several days, it came back maybe a little. Going back on the twice a day Spiro and gone again. Wasn't gone just down below either, that would be fine with me but even nipple sensation was greatly diminished and the profound nipple sensations was just about everything for me right now.
I'm not certain my doctor told me all of the reasons and all of the effects/side effects for the Spiro script but I will ask more questions on my next visit. I have read in several posts on this forum where the ladies were quite pleased to be able to drop the Spiro completely. I haven't yet read of the reason and as everyone knows, curiosity killed the cat.
So just what is the real deal with Spiro? What are the reasons your doctor gave for prescribing it? What were the effects that it seems so many are happy about doing away with? Is it the Spiro killing libido?
Has never been my desire to be sexless, seems to me the birth defect is a better option than that. Well, maybe.
