Embarassed over my chest

I was in a Rockabilly party yesterday. I did not dress up like them. I was there watching the cars and listening to a live band with my son.

I went with my husband and son. I wore a black T-shirt and jeans shorts that goes below my knees. And a jacket. I looked like a guy.

My husband said our son was best dressed for the occasion. But he completely missed that a black T and jeans work everywhere. The girls were impressed.

Four people took my for a guy. Three women and a man. I can't wait to get my binder. I realized how much I am embarassed over my chest. I had to wear a jacket to hide them.

The women asked me for cigs and the guy cheered at me from his old Impala with a beer can in his hand.

I'm going to a LGBT-party in September. I will go as Tony. With my binder on.

While its likely hard for many of us to relate exactly to your situation, I feel you. From a mtf prospective I am at the point where I'm so thrilled to see my breasts develop but it makes me so self conscious in public. Right now I look like a guy but even with my belly fat they stick out a bit too much. Now that summer is upon us it is much more difficult to cover up enough to not draw looks.

A lifetime of depression and repressed emotions is nothing more than existence. I for one want to live now not just exist!

I feel you! I ordered a binder yesterday. It will just give me so much more confidence!

I pretty much won't go anywhere without my binder.  But it is important to remember that they stretch out.  You have to replace them.  It's an annoying truth.

The longer you are on T the more your body will change too.  My chest has become smaller and I looks better when I bind.
