Yeah. Won't be on it until I'm 18. Thank you. I would hope T will be nice and give me decent facials in a short time lol. Ahhh. A couple more posts and you should be able to I think.

I definitely think you look masculine vincent and about the age that you say you are. I have a skinny 20 year old guy friend you remind me of a bit. You look somewhat softer like Transdude said about the skin, but in terms of androgyny,  I just see potential for you to be a sort of guy-liner new romantic dude, not anything that would make me think you werent a guy. I think you look pretty cool tbh if you can't tell. When you go on T I imagine you're gonna look really masculine especially since you have a really nice jawline

Are you binding? If so, your chest passes really well.

Your haircut is hindering you a bit, in my opinion. Pre-T, I did the whole 'false sideburns by growing my hair out' bit (like the look in your second to last picture) and it ended up just making me look very butchy/lesbian-ish. It also adds extra bulk to your face which in turn makes it appear slightly more rounded/feminine.

There's a slight meatiness to your arms and a bit of a bulk to your upper body judging from the images, so those are both working in your favor. Your forearms look to be naturally larger, too, which definitely helps (how many natal women do you see with anything more than sticks for forearms?).
Your eyebrows look awesome (that may sound like a dumb thing to comment on, but eyebrows are an often overlooked important component to an overall masculine appearance) and you don't seem to have any features that immediately scream 'female', so I keep going back to the hair.
Up for trying something less drastic than a haircut? Try to either wet the sides down and press them closer to your head or use product right before a shower and do it. Instead of putting the top down to conceal your forehead, sort of sweep it off your face. Take a couple pictures and see if just the different shape doesn't change your appearance a lot.

You have a good base, man. I think T will do wonders for you (if you intend on starting it, of course).

Sweeeeet! Thanks for all the feedback!!
The first few I didn't have a binder on, just a sports bra, but then I invested in a gc2b binder and I freaking love it!

I've always been athletically built and I've been working out just my chest, back, shoulders and arms a couple of times a week to kind of offset my hips, and I've been taking about 175MG of DHEA a day. I actually have a small waist and very large hips so that's my biggest issue when trying to pass.

As for the brows....They've been both a gift and a curse all of my life. So thank you  :-*

And the hair...oh the hair! I'd actually looooove to go back to this old cut and color...Natural color but the undercut I kept pretty much the entirety of 19-21 years old.  :D  (It was black, it was blonde, it was brown, it was aqua...you name it)

I'll hopefully be on T by the end of the year. So hear's hoping! -fingers crossed-

Dude... wow. That haircut looks super masculinizing on you. My fiancée leaned over and said (her exact words) "Whoa, that looks great on him. The other looks a little like a lesbian haircut, though."

Also, are you serious? Even with just the sports bra, it was working. Pre-top, I had sweater calves even with super tight sports bras, so that's awesome.
I can tell that you've been doing upper body work. Man, on T... it -explodes-. Seriously. My performance in the gym increased tenfold both in terms of stamina and raw strength. And your hips? I wouldn't worry too much about those.
I had the same issue as you with my hips and now they're almost completely unnoticeable 1 1/2 years in through fat loss and an intense upper body routine.
I'm excited for you.

Well tell her I said thank you!!  ;D
That definitely makes the choice to get my hair like that a lot more justified....(though I change my hair so much no one expects any less of me, sooooo)

Thanks for all the advise. I'm glad to know that my hips will eventually become less obvious! Thanks again!

transguymac, you look amazing and that haircut looks great on you! Stylish and masculine. I also wear GC2B binders and I love them!

Will definitely post some pics of my own once I'm able to.

I agree. The cut in your avatar looks awesome on you. I think you pass. You look like a cute boy. You haven't even started testosterone yet? After you are on it a while you will be totally hot.

Thank you too! I'm hoping to get it back this weekend...And going back to my natural color I think will help with my dysphoria as well...I won't have to deal with roots, or mismatched eyebrows. I'll post some updated pics when it's done!

Just wanted to point out with the old haircut there's nothing wrong with it, technically. But I do agree with the shorter length you pass significantly better. I actually like the old style myself and its the type of hair I have, unfortunately when it comes to passing you do want to be conscientious of what makes you look butch instead of male,

...and then on T you can go having long hair if you wanted to :P

  •

seth.james

Okay. Pretty sure I don't pass at this point. Really want to get on T so I can stop feeling so dysphoric someday. In the right light, there actually are some masculine traits in my face, but other people still see a girl, unfortunately.

I think I look better without glasses, but I'm unfortunately blind without them, and the kind of issues I have can't be corrected with contacts. :(

You look good; still androgynous but more male leaning. Your jaw structure is amazing and I can tell you're gonna look hella masculine on T. The only thing I think you can change now is the hair. Hair on the face makes a person look sort of feminine. If you wore it up as a quiff I think that would work better. Just my opinion.

As for the glasses thing I sympathise. Glasses don't suit me but I can't see without them :P. I can't see anything wrong with yours though. They're the right size and shape for your face.

You look pretty masculine to me, mi amigo. Sadly I think the thing that not passing may due you in may be the combination of other things, like voice or height.

You do have a bit of fat around the cheek area from a forward angle, it looks like. Pre-T, as odd as it may sound, the only way to change that might be contouring makeup, idk. Ironically, I think the glasses might help with that (or again, it's probably just the angle)

Thanks guys. :)

My jaw is one of the more masculine things about my face, I think. I also don't seem to have as much fat on my face as most biological females seem to. I do have a bit of stubborn fat in my cheeks that you can see when I smile, but thankfully my cheekbones are relatively prominent, making that less obvious when I'm not smiling, at least.

My voice is definitely a giveaway. I know height won't be so much an issue after I've been on T for a while; there's plenty of short guys out there, but it's definitely part of the problem now. And unfortunately taking the hair up off my face seems to make me look more feminine. Stupid hairline lol.

I agree with Elis: You have a fairly androgynous look with just a tad more emphasis on the masculine side.
As far as the hair issue (something I can certainly commiserate with as my hairline pre-T was extremely feminine), are you opposed to wearing baseball caps? Most women avoid them like the plague unless they're at a sporting event but a ton of guys wear them no matter what they're doing. I always seemed to have a higher success rate when I was wearing one.
I know a hat's just a band aid, but if you're having a particularly dysphoric day and the hat trick works, it could save you some grief in the short term.

Otherwise, your lips and nose are both very masculine. Your eyes are soft but that will more than likely change on T. Currently, your glasses sort of conceal that; the shadow a hat casts on the eyes may also help a bit if you choose to give that route a try.
Anyway, don't beat yourself up because you've got a good base.

I think you look pretty masculine....I just think you have the same problem I have. BABY FACE. Your look masculine, just kind of young. But I know your struggle. I'm almost 24 and I still get carded for everything...whether masculine or feminine presenting.

So I said I'd post an update when I got the new haircut...The good news is, I hopefully won't have to worry about passing too much longer because I get by letter for HRT this weekend......

Here we go...What does everyone think?

That cut looks really good on you. And it makes you look much more masculine. Once you are on testosterone I think you will pass 100%.
