My name is JJ I'm 27 pre-op mtf after fighting my real self my whole life I've realized I'm fighting a losing war against fate my destiny is to be a woman it kills me to be without my wife and kids but it's time I'm doing therapy and soon back on hrt. Admittedly one of the sweet happy dreams that keeps me going is that I will be post-op doing my shopping and along with my makeup I'll buy a box of tampax pearls and get to wear a tampon in  my vagina I find this site and you girls are already posted all about it!!

Welcome to Susan's Place. From what I understand, tampons aren't a good idea. Tampons are designed to soak up a good deal of moisture and if there isn't enough, they can get stuck. Most procedures used in GCS at least in the early stages don't produce enough moisture to keep the tampons from sticking. I needed pads post surgically to soak up the blood and lubrication jelly but after, nothing is required.
