Here is some of the stuff that I have done. I work in a very male dominated industry, so I had to be creative. I changed my iPhone case to a mint green one (my favorite color BTW), when questioned on it, I casually mentioned that I almost lost the phone at the gym with the previous black case because it blended in.
I mentioned that I hurt my back (which was true to a some extent) and that I couldn't lift heavy any more. I was already in the process of stopping my testosterone injections that I was getting for low testosterone . I switched in pilates and heavy cardio for weight lifting and tightened up my diet. So when I started to lose a little muscle and the weight came off I attributed it to not being able to work out. I began a good skin car regimen and did a slow taper on my eyebrows so it wouldn't be as noticeable, typically when I got my haircut. If anyone says anything, I attribute any change to my weight loss
Most of these changes have pretty much gone unnoticed by my male co-workers, the only ones who would give me any static about it. . The few females (who don't really associate with the guys) have noticed, but don't share their findings with the men. I addition, I have made a real effort to befriend them and I have made it into their social circle. When more changes come about, I will at least not be a social outcast to everyone.
In the coming weeks I intend on shaving my body hair, of course I already have a plan for that. I am training for a triathlon (also partially true). I get that these are flimsy excuses, but they have worked so far. In the end I plan on changing jobs anyway.
