That just reinforces my opinion that "people don't care" what we do.  It doesn't affect them.  I don't know about you but if before I came to realize what was going on with me I would have been fascinated and asked way too many questions.

It was Electrolysis Monday, when I do two sessions, each two hours long, of electrolysis, to try and stay ahead of the waking follicles.  I stopped shaving a while ago, and let things get fuzzy.  A couple of weeks this month I got in a third two hour session, and definitely got the upper hand.

Today was a major benchmark day.  I won the battle.

During the second session, my electrolist ended the session early, as I was out of facial hairs.

Out... of... HAIRS!  🙀😃😃

I haz a happy.
Earth my body, water my blood, air my breath and fire my spirit.

My personal transition path included medical changes.  The path others take may require no medical intervention, or different care.  We each find our own path. I provide these dates for the curious.
Electrolysis - Hours in The Chair: 238 (8.5 were preparing for GCS, five clearings); On estradiol patch June 2016; Full-time Oct 22, 2016; GCS Oct 20, 2017; FFS Aug 28, 2018; Stage 2 labiaplasty revision and BA Feb 26, 2019

Realizing it's been two weeks since my mammogram, and the phone hasn't rung. This is my 4th mammogram in 10 years. My mom passed away from breast cancer at age 49.
2007/8 - name change, tracheal shave, electrolysis, therapy
2008 - full time
2014 - GCS Dr. Brassard; remarried
2018 (January)  - hubby and I moved off-grid
2019 - plan originally was to hike PCT in 2020, but now attempting Appalachian Trail - start date April 3.

Got my E and S dosages increased.  :)

The doc had lowered my S dosage last time because my blood pressure was low.  My BP is better this checkup, but now my T is up.  (That's not all that was up, especially first thing in the morning, so I'm happier to live with any BP anomaly.)  So I am back to my previous higher dose.

And I am happy to have more raw material (E) for the boob fairy to work with.

Oh, and I am getting referred to a shrink for one of my surgery letters, and I have a referral for a psychologist for the other.  (My HRT doc, unfortunately, cannot provide one of the two WPATH letters because she is not a specialist.  I have three sets of rules to conform to: WPATH, MSI (our health insurance) and Dr. Brassard's rules.)

Today is my first year wedding anniversary to the greatest guy in the world!!! :)

and... I was asked by a friend to join her and some other women to be photographed for a photo essay that will be published about women's body image and acceptance!.. We will be posing in our bikinis! :)

Ashley, Congratulations! OK, it is just so hot to be able to pose for a bikini shot...but really now, wow, a full year so quickly. I wish you many more, you deserve the happiness. I want to thank you for the encouragement that you posting your progress had given to me and so many of us here at Susan's, you have contributed to so much of the magic.

Ashley, wow.  Wedding anniversary as your true self - you are an inspiration.

Awwww!!! Thank you so much Anne and Kendra for the kind words and well wishes! It has been an awesome year of Love, laughs, new beginnings and challenges faced together!... We are going to do our big dinner at our favorite place this weekend... just doing an evening BBQ at home at the end of a gorgeous day here!!! Hubby should be home momentarily and I am ambushing him in my wedding dress!!!

Onward we go!!!

Big day for me, got released by my gcs surgeon, all good and certifiably the new me AND I even have the letters to prove it!

We do plan to hang out in the are for a while more before beginning the drive home, but IT IS DONE

It is a big milestone for me and I really look forward to moving on with my journey....but hey, I am only two and a half years old, I kind of need to figure out where to go from here.....I love it, at nearly seventy I am trying to figure out what I want to do/be when I grow up! I will be looking for suggestions from my Susan's family
