It might not be easy.  Having the equipment ready is one thing, but it may take several attempts, without him noticing anything amiss, before he incriminates himself.

  So I did record him using a voice recorder app. Although this time because I wanted him to spills out everything, I acted a bit friendly and inviting. I started the convo by thanking him.

  I only recorded the above bits of our convo. Do you guys think i should have my mom hear the tape or give him another chance to see if he changes. He is very sweet and nice and I sometimes wonder if he even realizes if this is inappropriate.

Upload it somewhere for safe keeping, better yet - have 2 copies and tell about this recording to a friend (but without details if you don't want your friends to tell their friends - just that it's important and it's on such and such server). You have him by the balls. If he ever tries to force you (but not before that), tell him that you have a recording of him and police will find it... That should keep him straight.

That is if you don't want to kick him out before that, which you probably should.

She needs to hear it. Even if he can't get in your pants, he is getting into other people's pants, and will continue to do so for as long as he can. Once a cheater, always a cheater!

He most certainly would try... And he is a predator. But then, starting a confrontation might lead to unknown consequences. It is better to be ready to a good fight or flight if situation demands it.

What a jerk! Good thing that you got him on tape. I think you should keep your distance and save the recording if things get weird again.

You'll have to share with your mom eventually. You want her married to this creep? I don't think so. But how to do it, that's key. You and your mom may need a place to go, etc. Have a plan. But do not let this die!

You should share it with your mom for what it is worth.

Points to keep in mind:
A)  How much talking about with her has been going on between them? (Not in a creepy way)
B)  Now for the creepy warning.... Why is with her and you with them?  Would he be with your mom if you weren't in the picture? 
C)  Sometimes women want a man in their life so badly they WILL overlook the fact he is a pederast, even when he is doing her own daughter. Like in the case of my ex-fiancees mom
