I'm fed up, its been a year now since i first went to my gp and though he's been really supportive, everything is just taking so long and its so frustrating.  i've done everything that my doctor and psychiatrist want but i still have to wait.  it sucks so much.  i might get to start hrt next month if the psychiatrist agrees, but i hate being in limbo, not knowing when everything will happen.

and i'm fed up with how anxious i've been feeling this past month.  i've been on meds for anxiety disorder for the past year, but my doctor wanted me to come of them so i've been on a reduced dose for the past month, but its horrible and i don't know if the anxiety is cos i'm coming of the tablets or because i'm still suffering from anxiety.  i really hope that i'll feel better in a couple of weeks, i'm really scared of going back to how i was a year ago, but i can't even talk to my doctor about it cos i haven't been able to get an appointment for ages cos of the stupid nhs booking system.

sorry for whining

Jenny, why does your doctor want you off the anti-anxiety meds? I'm bi-polar, and my meds have never been an issue or problem.

hiyea jenny it is all ok jenny :icon_hug: you know jenny sometimes we all need to vent our feeling,s out in

a positive way . and by that  i mean if it is crying or yelling or being still or walking or what ever it may be .

how ever it is to be that makes you feel the most comfy with the best . so please jenny don be sorry for

saying how you feel . and it,s interesting you bring this up .  why you ask cause me and a freind had this

same talk the other day about the very same thing. at first  i was not sure i was feeling which way was up

or down untill i had talked to my freind. and they being a good freind just let me vent untill i could not vent

any more i think maybe. afterwards we talked some more about thing,s . and after that i just felt so much

a hell lot better. to the point i felt like i could find the up and down again . so i guess what iam trying to

say here jenny is this dont hold it in . because it can be unhealthy . trust me i know .so the only thing

left to do is let it out in a  positively. and that you feel comfy with too. and i wished i could help you

on the uk,s system . but iam not from the uk. but that dont mean that i still cant help in other ways tho

jenny :) . so if you want to or need to have some one to vent then well i can help in that way . and iam

here jenny  :icon_hug: :icon_hug:

he was concerned about the level of the side effects, and they were causing abnormalities in my blood tests - my prolactin levels had shot up cos of them, but i did get some breast growth from it though ;D.
i'm gonna ask him if theres a different one that he can put me on.

i'm feeling calmer today, lol.  thankyou for all your nice words, i usually talk to my best friend when i'm fed up, but she's in america at mo, getting married.  she's so sweet and always supportive when i get really stressed.

i know theres loads of people in worse positions than me, and everything will get better soon :)

The U.K isn't the best place to be if you are TS and the NHS doesn't really have a treatment system to deal with it. As for prolactin levels, mine are usually quite high as well brought on by HRT. Hormones vary and you might find a better one that suits your test results better.........
