1. Do you/did you have bottom dysphoria?

2. If you do, how does it (did it) manifest?

3. Did going on hormones alleviate it?

4. Did it get stronger after taking care of "more urgent issues" (chest, name, hormones, transitioning etc.)? Meaning, did it start to bother you more after you were alright on all the other aspects?

5. Are/were you still able to enjoy sex/masturbate?

6. Do you have methods that help you to deal with it? (i.e. packing, tucking, keeping eyes closed while having sex...) Do you have some tips you'd like to share with others?

7. Do you think bottom dysphoria is more of an issue for AMABs for similar reasons as chest is an issue for AFABs? (i.e. fear of something showing, needing to cover, "extra stuff" hanging in there) Or do you think it's as common for both?

8.  Have you had (or do you plan to have) any bottom surgery? Why/why not? Did it help with dysphoria?

Even though I'm pre-everything, I'll answer the best I can

1. No, not really, I mean, I don't hate my genial so, I just wish they were that of a female

4. I have stronger dysphoria about clothing, not having boobs, facial hair and having shorter hair.

5. I do, but to enjoy it, I have to imagine I am a woman and have female genitalia

6. I do tuck occasionally, not the testicals though

as a pre, nothing done yet ... hopefully soon, maybe never :(

1. yes. Once I admitted to myself it got worse.
2. worsened over time.
5. Did, not any more really since it doesn't work. TBO, mostly it was need not enjoyment. T pressure can be intense.
6. I tuck almost 24/7, it helps a lot. / Sex, on the rare occasion that it works it's OK. Not my preference / Tips? Find what works, best that I can say. Everyone is different.
7. It's seems to me to be dependent on the person. For me I no longer like it there, don't like seeing it but I don't go into a panic. I tuck to hide from me and others. If anyone questions the lack, it's none of their business :)
8. Plan, yes but not full .. too expensive. Contemplating Orchi first. We'll see (or not)

addendum to #1/#7
When I see it, it looks like something just stuck there that doesn't belong, like a pin-the-tail-on-a-donkey game where it's just hanging there out of place.
I left the door open, only a few came through. such is my life.

1. Yes, but I have it under good control.

2. Generally as unwelcome thoughts and aversions.

3. Yes.

4. No, it bothers me less after HRT and the transition process.

5. Yes.

6. All my methods of dealing with are mental. I'm not especially tormented by it at this point. Partially because I know I'm on the road to 'dealing with it' properly, partially because HRT lessened the mental conflict for me with myself, partially because my coping mechanism of dissociation is well practiced.

7. Honestly I think it's equally a problem for both. Not having something there when a man is almost as noticeable in everyday interactions (sexual situations aside ofc) as having something there when you're not a man.

8. Discussing it presently with GIC supervising doctor.

8.  Have you had (or do you plan to have) any bottom surgery? Why/why not? Did it help with dysphoria?

1.not really no. When I was using a packer and especially an stp definitely which is why I only used them for a brief period.

2.

3. No difference but me hhaving an obvious dick helps me feel more confident

4. Chest surgery is recent so maybe it hasn't quite become apparent yet. Getting first stage meta has crossed my mind but not sure where to start to get info about it and whether it's worth the loss of sensitive in my dick. Plus I have more pressing things on my mind.

5. Sex is alright. Makes me feel slightly better that down there functions as well as it does. Masturbation has never really been my thing. Hard to tell if it's dysphoria or generally discomfort about the way my body looks. Plus I can't get hard so see no point.

6.

7. I think worse for AMAB due to having to tuck and how uncomfortable that can be; which then leads to more focus on that part. Similar to my past issues with packers. And thankfully we can go grow our own dicks without need for invasive surgery.

8. See 4.

Yes. Very much.
I hate being naked.
Hrt helped a little. It killed my sex drive and "it" shrunk.
It got much stronger after I started dating my boyfriend. I can't have sex with him the way I want to.
I enjoy sex but not nearly as much as I would if I had the right parts. I don't masturbate since I started hrt.
Yes. I am tucked 2-4-7. I only untuck to shower.
I think it's an issue for both. You get used to tucking after a while but it's still not exactly comfortable. I don't imagine wearing a packer is especially comfortable either.
Yes. I have SRS scheduled for May.

1 yes
2 It mainly manifests as pain and discomfort - although being continuously aware of it is no joy. I hate being naked, and hate swinwear....
3 Currently not on HRT, but manage the symptoms through mindfulness, and restraint techniques (makes it sound like a high security prisoner lol)
4 Having just started this journey, it's a nuisance now, but I dread to think what it could be like later on....
5 Sex. Hmm yes, dealing with plummeting drive, desire and generally trying to ignore point 2 gets to be a chore, so I focus on my partner and ensure that it's as good as possible for her :)
6 yes, I tuck, and I wear good briefs, although I've found that naming the discomfort has helped as has avoidance of triggers (smell, objects that are at the wrong height) helps too as does the mindful reminders of yes, that sensation is normal for this body, in this activity.
7 personally, my suspicion is that this is highly individual, but there is a level of 'not rightness' about our bodies that makes us want to hide them, a bit like the persistent hiss of tinnitus, easily ignored when engrossed in something else but front of mind when the world is quiet.
8 No plans for surgery for many reasons, but if I could, I would.

1. Do you/did you have bottom dysphoria?

I do, but not really in a binary way. My ideal would be both a penis and a vagina.

2. If you do, how does it (did it) manifest?
I hate looking at the area. I can't bring myself to shave, because then I can see it clearly. I'm really uncomfortable being naked around others.

3. Did going on hormones alleviate it?
No. I was hoping that the growth most people get down there would fix it, but I didn't really get much.

4. Did it get stronger after taking care of "more urgent issues" (chest, name, hormones, transitioning etc.)? Meaning, did it start to bother you more after you were alright on all the other aspects?
Yes. Compared to other things, it was pretty low on the list. After all, no one but me and intimate partners can see it. But now that a bunch of more pressing problems have been taken care of, it's more noticeable.

5. Are/were you still able to enjoy sex/masturbate?
Yes, actually. I've always had a really high sex drive, even without T. The need to get off kind of overrides any dysphoria.

6. Do you have methods that help you to deal with it? (i.e. packing, tucking, keeping eyes closed while having sex...) Do you have some tips you'd like to share with others?
Not shaving helps, as mentioned previously. Packing never helped me much, since feeling the packer there is a constant reminder of what I'm missing.

7. Do you think bottom dysphoria is more of an issue for AMABs for similar reasons as chest is an issue for AFABs? (i.e. fear of something showing, needing to cover, "extra stuff" hanging in there) Or do you think it's as common for both?
I'd say it's more of a passing/safety issue for AMABs. But I think all genders probably experience dysphoria as much.

8.  Have you had (or do you plan to have) any bottom surgery? Why/why not? Did it help with dysphoria?
Going in, I wanted to get a partial meta/clitoral release. But I didn't actually get enough growth to have one be worth it.

I have no desire for a phallo, since the ability to have natural erections is too important to me. And I'm not sure a phallo is even possible if you want to keep your vagina.

1) Yes, but probably a lot more mild than some others.
2) It annoyed me before HRT, but as my body changes I get more & more upset seeing it there when I'm naked.
3) See 2
4) I'm sure it will. I've still got a few milestones left, and GCS will be the last.
5) Not especially. I do masturbate occasionally, but things don't really work the same so I've been trying to find new ways to do it. I've not had sex for... a long time. I hope to do so again someday, and explore my newfound attraction to men, but I'm not certain how comfortable I'd feel doing so as I am now.
6) Tucking. Taped on occasion. Wearing panties without the unwanted bulge makes me feel much better.
7) For both.
8 ) I absolutely plan to, since I want to be as 100% a woman as I can be.

1. Yes
2. A large percentage of my thoughts are about this on any given day.
3. N/A as not yet on HRT
4. Not at all really. I've been focusing on the more pressing hair removal issues, but moving forward on that hasn't changed this at all.
5. Yes. Primary problem is finding a partner...
6. Not recommended, but I'm a bit overweight, and can't easily see it, except in a mirror, or if I really strain.
7. I used to, though I think AFAB's just have a different set of issues, which may or may not be easier to deal with, while having many of the same issues that overlap.
8. I have my concerns about cost, having to dilate, and possible loss of sensation/orgasm. I don't know that I'll ever stop thinking about it though, and it may still happen eventually...

Yes, I did.

2. If you do, how does it (did it) manifest?
It really only affected me the most when I was going to the bathroom; worse still when I was in a public restroom. Sometimes it bothered me a bit during sex/masturbation but only in the way that I wanted to do things with a penis that I really couldn't without, or that just didn't feel the same without one.

A little bit, but not that noticeably. It was more that it was the next thing on the list to take care of, once I'd had top surgery.

5. Are/were you still able to enjoy sex/masturbate?
I was able to before phalloplasty and I'm still able to after. It just feels more "right," albeit a little difficult since I'm so newly post-op and the nerves haven't really matured yet.

6. Do you have methods that help you to deal with it? (i.e. packing, tucking, keeping eyes closed while having sex...) Do you have some tips you'd like to share with others?
Packing was too inconvenient and just seemed to remind me, in its inconvenience, that it just wasn't the same and made me more conscious of both what was down there (the packer) and what wasn't (an actual penis). So I ended up not bothering with any of it and just dealing. It was never anything close to overpowering/overwhelming,

I won't pretend to know what AMAB trans people go through, and have no idea how prevalent either is on either end of the spectrum. I don't know that it really matters, either, and trying to quantify which is worse, more common, etc. just feels divisive (I'm certain that's not your intention, lemme be clear :))

8.  Have you had (or do you plan to have) any bottom surgery? Why/why not? Did it help with dysphoria?
Yes, I had phalloplasty because the need to stand to urinate has been with me since I was 4 or 5 and it's never left, and I was tired of feeling like a mere fraction of myself. And with it, the last of my dysphoria has dissipated, and I hope it stays that way.

1.   Yes more noticeably as a trans person, though I fell out of love with my testicles at the age of 5 after slipping off of
my bicycle seat.  If there ever was an argument for NOT intelligent design, testicles are it.
2.   Used to be some self abuse, like tying things up tight and choking them.  Not since HRT though.
3.   HRT seems to have relaxed me on the issue, maybe it was making the decision for srs.
4.   No
5.   Not much after HRT.
6.   Problem will soon be "cleaned up".
7.   Brain and body out of sync would seem to be about the same to me (but I only know one side for sure).
8.   Yup, plan to, and soon!.

1. I had bottom dysphoria bad.

2. It is gone now. I dreamed all the time of having an accident where it would have to  be removed or magically gone in some way.

3.  Hormones distracted from it for a while. There is something to take your attention from it.

4.  I think transitioning and FFS helped because it got rid of most social dysphoria. Then at some point, that is no longer enough. The focus then goes all toward the bottom.

5. I was functional even on HRT but the drive to do it only caused pain after the fact. Having things wrong down there was too much.

6. I dealt with it through distraction. I dealt with all dysphoria through distraction.

7. I can't compare the two. I guess my only reference has to do with testosterone. It created so much anger in my life that it makes me think that anyone dealing with it is having a rough time. Others may see it differently of course.

8. I had vaginoplasty and my dysphoria is gone. It was never much of a  choice for me. I am so much more at peace with myself now.

1. Do you/did you have bottom dysphoria?

Yes.

Quote
2. If you do, how does it (did it) manifest?

When I desired to be similar to a cis female.

Quote
3. Did going on hormones alleviate it?

Hormones allowed my attention to shift from the exclusive focus on the shape of the genital to more feminine perception, such as the emotional aspect of being female and the associated desires.

Quote
4. Did it get stronger after taking care of "more urgent issues" (chest, name, hormones, transitioning etc.)? Meaning, did it start to bother you more after you were alright on all the other aspects?

The focus of my attention toward the shape of the genital which cause the dysphoria becoming lesser as other matters become more important, such as emotional desire to love and be loved, where the need to be more beautiful and presentable in various aspect become increasing more important in my mind.

Quote
5. Are/were you still able to enjoy sex/masturbate?

The hormone has an effect on my perception of sex, I longer find it enjoyable for pure simulation of the male member, previous visual stimulation of nude photos no longer desirable for me. I prefer imagining a man showing affection to me and my body, imagining his touch and kisses, then I can enjoy fingering myself in various sensitive parts.

Quote
6. Do you have methods that help you to deal with it? (i.e. packing, tucking, keeping eyes closed while having sex...) Do you have some tips you'd like to share with others?

Apart from no longer focusing on the male member as something ugly to be avoid, I have learnt to accept it and actually love it the way it is naturally. This inspiration comes when I used to compared nude photos of pre-op and post-op models, I tried with both male and female perceptions, with both perceptions I find that pre-op is actually more attractive sexually in their genital parts, whenever I see the photos of post-op models who are very attractive, I had a wish that they were pre-op with their male members intact. So I have a conclusion from these feelings that the male members does not harm the feminine attractiveness of these models, but actually enhances their femininity due to the fact that it is on the female body, so it is also part of the femininity as opposed to the believe that it is a male only thing.

The most important I realize is to follow what I liked and what my partner liked (he of couse have to accept the way I am as a pre-op), it does not matter what others or society believe or expect what a woman's genital form should be.

Quote
7. Do you think bottom dysphoria is more of an issue for AMABs for similar reasons as chest is an issue for AFABs? (i.e. fear of something showing, needing to cover, "extra stuff" hanging in there) Or do you think it's as common for both?

Just like a woman can have male genital and still be considered a woman because she think she is (so others have to respect her wishes), similarly a man can have feminine bodily characteristics and be considered vice versa according to his self perception.

Quote
8.  Have you had (or do you plan to have) any bottom surgery? Why/why not? Did it help with dysphoria?

I did have this wish for surgery and this has been expressed in some of my formal posts, but my mind has changed due to the realization from comparing the nude pictures of pre-op and post-op models. This simple comparison will open up minds of a lot of people who has the dysphoria due to the shape of one's genital.

1. Do you/did you have bottom dysphoria?
Yup, by far the biggest issue I had with my body.

2. If you do, how does it (did it) manifest?
Discomfort while naked -I would only ever completely undress for showering-, while peeing and while wearing any sort of clothing that I feared could make it visible to others. I was also completely unable to have sex; I would break down crying once the time came to get 'it' involved.

3. Did going on hormones alleviate it?
HRT was an enormous relief in other aspects, like being sober for the first time and being able to see and think clearly. It didn't really change how I felt about the 'creature' hanging out down there tho; I would even say it felt even more urgent to get rid of it.

4. Did it get stronger after taking care of "more urgent issues" (chest, name, hormones, transitioning etc.)? Meaning, did it start to bother you more after you were alright on all the other aspects?
No doubt, HRT in particular. I was living as a woman for 7 years before I finally got to start HRT, and that was like a go signal. Since then I've been sprinting towards the finish line and throwing every available resource at getting the rest of me sorted! SRS with an enormous step.

5. Are/were you still able to enjoy sex/masturbate?
Suppose I kinda answered this. Nope, not at all!

6. Do you have methods that help you to deal with it? (i.e. packing, tucking, keeping eyes closed while having sex...) Do you have some tips you'd like to share with others?
Jessica K recommended to me some specially made panties that were an enormous help in keeping things in check with very little pain or effort, 'Leolines' on Etsy. Other than that I've never been good at tucking, and always considered my clothes carefully so I could wear stuff that would hide it the best..

7. Do you think bottom dysphoria is more of an issue for AMABs for similar reasons as chest is an issue for AFABs? (i.e. fear of something showing, needing to cover, "extra stuff" hanging in there) Or do you think it's as common for both?
I wouldn't know, I imagine its about equal. People are so different, some are completely comfortable leaving their born genitals remain while changing all the other stuff, for others it is by far the most urgent change they want.

8.  Have you had (or do you plan to have) any bottom surgery? Why/why not? Did it help with dysphoria?
Did on May 12th of this year, and I had a lump in my stomach all the way until the bandages were removed several days after the surgery... When I could see it on my self for the first time, every single shred of doubt that may have lingered vanished completely.  Its not like going to the toilet now is 'new and exciting', it is simply 'right'. It feels exactly how it should, and I don't really pay it any attention. It feels normal, where before it felt wrong.

1. I feel that way more so recently but I always wished I could have a vagina. I don't even dislike my penis but it doesn't feel quite right.

2. I remember thinking about being with a man and that's one way to be intimate. I don't like to use my penis because it doesn't feel fulfilling to me.

3. No it's still there. If anything it makes me want srs even more.

4. I'm not there yet but it might.

5. Yes and no. Physically yes because pleasure is pleasure but mentally I don't think so.

6. I tuck and don't like anyone else going in that area. I mean I don't mind but prefer other things.

7. I don't know. It's an issue for me though

8. I plan to so I can move on with my life. I want to be happy not feel ashamed about my body.

1. Do you/did you have bottom dysphoria?

I've been unable to make up my mind on this. Tentatively I say yes, but exceedingly mild. (Playing into the whole preference for female parts rather than hatred of male parts.)

2. If you do, how does it (did it) manifest?

As said above, mostly just preferring the idea of having female parts. Though I've always tended to .. uh, do things, through underwear rather than the more traditional method.

3. Did going on hormones alleviate it?

Haven't started HRT yet.

4. Did it get stronger after taking care of "more urgent issues" (chest, name, hormones, transitioning etc.)? Meaning, did it start to bother you more after you were alright on all the other aspects?

Well, I am not alright on the other issues yet, but... it wasn't until I started coming to grips with myself that I began to recognize any bottom dysphoria at all.

5. Are/were you still able to enjoy sex/masturbate?

I don't have sex, and as for the other... Well, enjoy is a strong word. It's more utilitarian.

6. Do you have methods that help you to deal with it? (i.e. packing, tucking, keeping eyes closed while having sex...) Do you have some tips you'd like to share with others?

Not really.

7. Do you think bottom dysphoria is more of an issue for AMABs for similar reasons as chest is an issue for AFABs? (i.e. fear of something showing, needing to cover, "extra stuff" hanging in there) Or do you think it's as common for both?

Socially and culturally, I think it's a larger issue for AMAB because the "entry requirements" into womanhood are perceived quite a bit stricter than that for manhood. Physically in a long term sense, I think it is more of an issue for AFAB due to the relative medical advancement of mtf gcs over ftm options.

8.  Have you had (or do you plan to have) any bottom surgery? Why/why not? Did it help with dysphoria?

I have not made up my mind, and am going to see how this plays out down the line. I love the idea of having female parts, but I hate the idea of major surgery and a lifetime of maintenance. At the moment I am leaning towards having GCS, but I waffle on the issue a lot. It's definitely not at the top of my priorities, and I would probably do everything else first.

1. Do you/did you have bottom dysphoria?
Yes.  I didn't, or wasn't aware of it at first, but it's there now.

Dissatisfaction with seeing the junk in a mirror, with tucking, etc.  Longing for the right shape.

3. Did going on hormones alleviate it?
No.  It made it worse.

Yes, after starting hormones as well as going full-time.

Damn, where did I put my libido?  No.  It's gone.

Tucking helps.  I wear firm-control briefs under pants in order to control my tuck.  Wearing skirts helps.  Not looking at those parts in the mirror helps.

Can't really say.  I imagine that it must be similar for FTMs and top dysphoria: having stuff that's visible but shouldn't be there.

Planning to, to fix the bottom dysphoria.  I expect it will help.

1. Do you/did you have bottom dysphoria?  A little bit.  I don't mind what I have sometimes, after all, it works perfectly fine.  But there are times I wish I had the ability to penetrate like I feel I should.  I've always had that feeling.  But bottom surgery isn't what I feel I need at this time.

2. If you do, how does it (did it) manifest?  I feel I should be able to penetrate during sex.

3. Did going on hormones alleviate it?   Some.  I like what I have grown.

4. Did it get stronger after taking care of "more urgent issues" (chest, name, hormones, transitioning etc.)? Meaning, did it start to bother you more after you were alright on all the other aspects?  I've not had any surgeries yet, so I don't know.

5. Are/were you still able to enjoy sex/masturbate?  Yes!  Since growing this new body part, I had to relearn how to jerk off, and my partner had to learn how to "take care of me," but its not only an ongoing "lesson," but enjoyable for the both of us.  ;D

6. Do you have methods that help you to deal with it? (i.e. packing, tucking, keeping eyes closed while having sex...) Do you have some tips you'd like to share with others?  I pack, and it makes me feel more masculine when I do.

7. Do you think bottom dysphoria is more of an issue for AMABs for similar reasons as chest is an issue for AFABs? (i.e. fear of something showing, needing to cover, "extra stuff" hanging in there) Or do you think it's as common for both?  I think it might be similar.  I don't hate my chest, I simply see no need for me to have it, like having an appendix.  Its not needed, so why not get rid of it when it starts bothering you?  I think that AMABs might feel similarly.

8.  Have you had (or do you plan to have) any bottom surgery? Why/why not? Did it help with dysphoria?   I don't have any real plans for bottom surgery at this time, but that doesn't mean I won't at a later date.  I still feel the need to be able to penetrate my partner, and if/when the technology gets better, I might.

You ask some truly interesting questions!  I love that you're making me think about things in a way that I might not otherwise have.  Thank you!

I have to finally chime in myself  :D!

1. Do you/did you have bottom dysphoria?
No, not really... Not that bad at least.

2. If you do, how does it (did it) manifest?
If I have a moment of 'omg I have a female body + parts' it can cause a bit of anxiety... I rather not think that way. Secondly: while having sex/fapping it can be a downer to have such a small member..... maybe T can help with that,  ;)! Thirdly: when I think about that I can't penetrate/have normal intercourse  :-\. - But generally a mild case.

Oh, forgot to mention that ofc it bothers me not being able to stand to pee...

3. Did going on hormones alleviate it?
Not on T yet - but I'm hoping growing a dick, even a small one, might help tremendously,  ;).

4. Did it get stronger after taking care of "more urgent issues" (chest, name, hormones, transitioning etc.)? Meaning, did it start to bother you more after you were alright on all the other aspects?

Again, not there yet. But I'm afraid it might. At least, after I look completely male on all the other aspects (chest, on T...) - it might become more of a passing issue, like in swimwear/at the gym? So, though not bothering me at the moment, there's a chance I might pay more attention to it then.

5. Are/were you still able to enjoy sex/masturbate?
Oh, yes  ;D! Sex is my life! Really - sex/masturbating is too important for me to let it bother that much, not to mention let it bother so much to not do it! I can't live without sex... I can live with having female parts, so!

6. Do you have methods that help you to deal with it? (i.e. packing, tucking, keeping eyes closed while having sex...) Do you have some tips you'd like to share with others?
I do not pack and not planning to... Like Andrew stated:
Quote from: AndrewB on November 18, 2017, 12:19:37 AM
Packing was too inconvenient and just seemed to remind me, in its inconvenience, that it just wasn't the same and made me more conscious of both what was down there (the packer) and what wasn't (an actual penis).
This is pretty much what's going in my mind as well. Plus I've seen enough pics of guys with tight jeans/pants to know that not every cis-guy has a noticable bulge in their pants either (just go google!). Plus no one's gonna stare at your crotch to determine your gender, so...! It really doesn't have much to do with passing either. Plus I have more pressing concerns than that, atm.

But like I said - might become more of an issue later on. Hope not,  ;).

But I have developed an interesting thought-process as to how to deal with it. Since I'm probably not going to have SRS, I have to come to terms with having female parts, or rather 'not having male parts'. In my mind I compare it to having been born intersex: Had I been born intersex & with ambiguous genitalia, I'd have to deal with that too, right? That wouldn't prevent me from having sex etc. So, in a way I see my parts as 'intersex' and just 'unique', like anyone's genitals. But I do not like thinking about they look/are 'female' very much or don't like to refer to them with female terms.

I think this was beautiful:

So I have a conclusion from these feelings that the male members does not harm the feminine attractiveness of these models, but actually enhances their femininity due to the fact that it is on the female body, so it is also part of the femininity as opposed to the believe that it is a male only thing.

Another thing has helped me to come to terms with the fact is watching p*rn [not sure you're allowed to say that word here?] - and realizing that a clitoris and a penis really have amazing similarities, and actually are the same organ, only different size. So thinking that I already have what any man/person has, helps. It's practically the same thing, instead of some 'opposite'/female organ. And T might help ofc in that department,  ;).

And as such, I feel like I've already got a dick - and it's as important to me as to a cis man! That's also why I couldn't imagine living without having sex...

It's also useful to close your eyes/stare at the screen while masturbating...  ;D ;D ;D
I generally like to imagine I'm stroking a dick in my mind. I've also learned you can 'grab' it between your fingers, even pre-T.....  ;)

7. Do you think bottom dysphoria is more of an issue for AMABs for similar reasons as chest is an issue for AFABs? (i.e. fear of something showing, needing to cover, "extra stuff" hanging in there) Or do you think it's as common for both?
I'ts highly personal of course. But I think Roll put it well:

I agree. Having to hide stuff is always unpleasant - I'd like to think more so than not to have something in the first place. I could imagine AMABs can be afraid to be 'found out' before SRS  :(. It can be a hard place socially to be a woman who has a shenis. Having said that - ofc bottom dysphoria is highly personal and affects both equally. Being a woman with a shenis can be as hard as being a man without a penis. Plus ftms don't have as good options when it comes to GCS. - Luckily there are also people who are not bothered by their genitals the least  ;D!

8. Have you had (or do you plan to have) any bottom surgery? Why/why not? Did it help with dysphoria?
I used to think I wanted a phallo at some point. 'Who wouldn't want a dick?' I thought. But I hate surgeries of all kinds, and am even scared of top surgery, so... Plus I don't feel comfortable with the idea of getting a surgery 'down there'. I couldn't risk losing sensitivity. Plus the technique isn't advanced enough for me, really  :-\. If they developed some stem cell technique to grow an actual penis, I might consider  ;D!

But you never know, right  ;)?

This video of 'My Transsexual Summer' (episode 2) shows a phallo result (starting at 19:00+):
