I got INFP this time, the Mediator, I used to usually get INTP when I took this.

Embracing my feminine side rather than hiding it has made me more feeling, it seems. Not necessarily a bad thing, I came off as emotionless, still kind of do.

I just took this one and actually got INFP when as I said before I always get INTP. Redid another test and was still INTP. I think it's this specific test weighting something between the two differently.

Interesting. I'd heard the term before but had never taken the test. It says I'm INFJ - T. Not perfect in my view, but pretty dang close.  Part of it is that I'm so borderline in some categories - 51% Introverted, for instance. Some parts were dead on, though. Got something to think about now.

Mine came up as ESTJ-A. This makes me an assertive, judging thinker. It also makes me an observant extrovert. That is a far cry from how I was pre HRT.

I used to be INTJ then more recently INFP moving towards ENFP over time. I think I vs E is somewhat learned for me and as my career progresses I continue to move further away from the extreme I that I once was. I don't see myself ever flipping to extrovert however I am moving in that direction over time.

INFP

Not surprised as I am a social worker and children's Psychotherapist!

A straight line may be the shortest distance between two points, but it is by no means the most interesting

INTP though I score very close to being INTJ.  I haven't taken a Briggs-Myers in a while.  Wondering if there have been any slight changes since transitioning.

I find INTP fits well.  There are definitely aspects that are awfully close to the J.  The core of me however has always been so much of a thinker/philosopher.

Just throwing it out there though Briggs-Myers is not really reliable or scientifically valid.  It is fun however.

PROTAGONIST (ENFJ-A)

Extroverted, Intuitive, Feeling, Judging, Assertive.  Yep, that's me!  Seems to me that I have always been that way.

INTP, although I don't hold much stock to these types of tests.  I'm more concerned with one's I get graded on.  Unless INTP means I fail, then I'd be mad indeed.

Wait, that's spoken like an INTP?  Dammit!  I can't win at this, can I?

you know how far the universe extends outward? i think i go inside just as deep.

10/11/18 - out to the whole world.  100% friends and family support.
11/6/17 - came out to sister, best day of my life
9/5/17 - formal diagnosis and stopping DIY in favor if prescribed HRT
6/18/17 - decided to stop fighting the trans beast, back on DIY.
Too many ups and downs, DIY, purges of self inbetween dates.
Age 10 - suppression and denial began
Age 8 - knew I was different

Lots of INFPs as usual.  The question is whether:
1. Being trans increases one's chance of being INFP?
2. INFPs are more likely to become trans?
3. Introverts are more likely to engage in Internet forums such as this since they find less enjoyment than extroverts in external social activities?

I'll bet that #3 is a big part of these results.  #1 probably contributes too.

I feel as though if you go through life feeling like you have to hide your true self, it would definitely lend to scoring on the introverted side on these sorts of things, with natural variation between F and T. I do think this particular test may have some bias towards INFP compared to some though.

I got
"Your personality type is:
Advocate (INFJ-t)".

I gather that the website 16personalities invented the -t to mean "turbulent" as opposed to -a for "assertive".  That seems fair enough in my case.

If INFJ is the rarest personality type in the general population, it is interesting that as I write, it is the second most numerous personality type in the Susan's Place poll.

Interesting topic.

It would be very interesting to see how much one might change throughout transition.
