Hi, I was curious if all Endos etc are on a kick of insiting on super low Estrogen levels after GCS. My Endo wants me down below 100, last results from  every 7 days on day 7 are 161 pg/ml I feel 100% awful at this level. I felt best at 250+/- pg/ml at day 7 that was taking Delestrogen every 5 days (that was a fight all in it's own). Now she wants me to reduce to -mg every 7 days and try and be below 100 pg/ml I want to tell the "Doctor" to go stuff it. Now my GP is willing to up my levels so I am at 250-300, the catch 22 is the insurance company will only pay if the endo prescribes or so the endo stated (I feel she is full of crap) . Has anyone else dealt with this? Why in the world would I want hormone levies of my grandmother? Ok rant over

I can't tell the difference between 700 pg/ml which was my starting point and the lower levels I've been at since the first 3 months at that high level.

My day 4 reading has been 220-260 for more than a year and my most recent test measured on day 6 at 180. Again, can't tell a difference between the end and beginning of my week. When I was off for a month pre GCS I felt awful around two weeks after my last shot.

However my endo is perfectly happy with my levels being in the 200-250 range, we made no dosage change after GCS. I would balk at anything under 200 and I boosted my dose post op to help with healing -- hormones are essential to that and I didn't discuss with my endo but did extensively with my psychiatrist who does keep track of my estrogen dosage.

Same here SadieBlake and with mine falling after GCS my dose had to be put back where it was pre GCS because of it falling to much for my liking. The doctor was more than willing to raise it. Hugs

Mariah, let me clarify, my levels have been rock solid from day one, no change post op except my T went from ~30-50 down to below 20. For me T was always fully suppressed by estrogen alone, never needed an AA.

My initial dose had me at 700 (I misremembered the 750 number), when it was cut in half the level went to 350, exactly half. Cut the dose again and levels went to what I mentioned above so reduced by something like 40%.

T was easily controlled on me. The problem was gaining control of my estrogen levels, which the endo never fully had control over. Now my PCP deals with everything post op. Hugs

I asked my endo about it a while ago, and he keeps it the same before and after. He also does relatively high levels, and I get new implants when mine drop to 800 pmol/L. Not sure what max is but I guess 2000+.
