Question.. When I have my chest surgery... do I need to be shaved for the surgery? Or does the surgeon do hair removal of some sort. Im really furry, so I dont know if when I am healing, and when my hair starts to grow back... will that effect the healing process in any way?

Most surgeons want patients prepped for surgery by shaving. I'm sure it's the same with chest surgery. Just don't scratch when it starts growing back.

I don't know from a surgeon's point of view, but I just had it done and was greatful there wasn't any hair for the tape to be sticking to.
Like all the dressing over your nipples afterwards that has to be changed and they need to be covered so clothing doesn't irritate them.
Good luck with your surgery, your gonna love how it feels afterwards. It's worth every penny!!!!!
