Hi, I am 5 months post op with Dr. B and have had intercourse, what I will say is you must be relaxed, our new parts are muscles which must be relaxed, also lubrication is a must. I learn the lesson the hard way, and was basically ripped open at the base of the vaginal canal, ironically Im hoping the akin will heal apart as to make the opening just that much "bigger", because like the original poster, I feel my tightness is only at the opening, otherwise I have maintained great depth and reach it about a minute into dilating. I do feel I wasn't as tight earlier on, but guess as you heal you go through stages of the muscles contracting and gaining the memory they need for us to be able to have intercourse.
I would say follow the doctors orders and get the silicone dilators and relax and lubricate and do more dilations as time permits in your schedule. I'm still doing three a day about 4 days a week, even though I only have to do two and don't feel come six months I will go down to once a day, maybe around 8 months I will.
