I recently increased my estrogen, adding to my existing Estrogel some oral bio-identical estrogen, always under the supervision of my doctor. I'm also taking a little T, I'm post-op. The T was to help with skin, energy, well-being/motivation and although it did help to a certain degree, I will admit it wasn't as much as I hoped it was going to be + increasing it too much = pimples and too much body hair.
So far I noticed the increased E has given me:
- so much more energy (more than on T). I actually have more drive now, a zest for life, I want to do things. I was convinced testosterone would give me all that (which it hasn't to the extent that I was hoping for and no intent to further increase T) but then read Lena's old posts, making me reassess whether extra E could help.
- a significantly improved mood. I'm happy for no apparent reason and very positive about things.

- increased libido but not to a point where it's nagging me every second. I just am "ready" and when the time comes, it will be perfect.
- increased self-confidence. I not only see a woman more often in the mirror but I feel pretty and sexy. A calm and cool confidence. I also don't feel like I have to wear make-up before going out. I feel confident enough to just...walk out and screw the rest!
- better memory.
- better concentration. More in the moment rather than in my head.
- reduction in my abdominal distension and improved digestion.
- skin and hair that are somewhat less oily, hence more manageable. Still soft and in good condition.
- nipples that protrude more.
I feel younger, more alive!
Crossing my fingers this continues...and this is not placebo. Will keep you posted.
