Hi Guys -

I've been browsing these forums for around 6 months now.  I've finally decided to sign up.  I hope to participate when I can.  I'm pre-T, but should be getting my T letter very soon.

I've been using men's restrooms for around a month now.  Yet, even though I've "mastered" standing-to-pee (at home), so far, I've only used stalls in public men's rooms because I'm not sure how discreetly I can use my u-tube, and then how discreetly I can stash it when it's a little wet after use, etc. 

For you guys who always use stalls:  Do you worry--when sitting to pee--about someone noticing your feet pointing in the "wrong" direction?    I'm concerned about it--concerned about something like that making someone take a closer look at me.

As a former guy, I can tell you that other guys will not comment on which way your feet point when you use the stall.  Hell, if guys talk at all it'll be about sports or some other macho thing...

Guys won't comment on other guys "technique" for fear of appearing "gay".

You're safe, Benjamin, just be discreet.

I know guys aren't staring at each other in there anyhow.  Which helps tons.  Just gotta force myself to remember that, and as you say, stay confident, and yet, discreet.

As a man,
I sat to pee for the last 30 years, no problem :-).

Men don't notice these things, they make a point of it HAHA.

Women's flow is usually much different, which would sound
weird to a guy (though I'm not sure he'd notice it that much),
but, if you've got something to make the noise more "male like",
that will be OK.

Yeah... the difference in sound is part of my concern.  I try to "muffle" the sound completely (creative use of toilet paper) so it;ll sound as though I'm taking care of other "business" in there.  Hmmm...having said that, tho, I suppose I can use the u-tube and stand-to-pee while using a stall.  U-tube definately sounds like a guy peeing! 

What would help, too, is if I simply stopped worrying about it.

Iv'e used the mens bathroom for years, Iv'e realized I'm not so nervous about it when im in a public place, restraunt, club etc. When I use it at work tho (only out to 3 people) I get a lil nervous when other guys I work with come in and say WHATS UP, knowing its me, from my shoes lol. I'll usually just hold it, and go once they leave, being most guys are in and out pretty quick.
Or you could always grunt a little and just pretend you're birthing brown babies I know a lot of guys pee "sitting down" when they're doing #2.

I unfortunately dont use mens bathrooms much as Im worried of getting found out plus they lock the cubilcles at night so I cant go.. usually I get my female mates to drag me into the ladys with them!

I haven't yet been able to stand up drunk and pee as well lets just say.. doesn't go so well!!

There are a few men who use womens toliets on there own and yes they do get a few looks but hey they dont care.

If I go to a resturant or the cinema then I just use the disabled.

I'm just lacking the confidence at the moment!

What is the thing you use there "utube"??

Jay, based on your picture, I wouldn't look twice if I saw you in the men's room.  I think you'd do fine. 

This weekend, I braved it and USED A URINAL for the first time ever (on 2 separate occassions)!  Very cool feeling.

The u-tube works like a charm for me; although I've heard some people say they can't get the knack of a urinary device.  Depends on the person.

My confidence using the men's room is growing, although, I still avoid the ones that have, say, only one urinal and one stall.  Makes me a little nervous.  Yesterday, I was at a funeral reception where I knew lots of people.  I opted for the ladies room (grrr) to play it on the safe side until more people know about me.

I tried standing in a stall at first - lots of guys do that - but one accident involving me peeing down my leg after a few beers convinced me that sitting's all around easier. Nobody comments, I doubt anyone notices. Guys don't pay attention to what other guys are doing in the bathroom.
