Take my comments with a grain of salt (things IMO were very different back in the late 90s & early 00s, when I transitioned, and had my SRS). What are your goals? SRS, mainly transitioning to full-time, etc.? They will cost money to achieve.
Taking the new job might majorly alleviate your stress, but will it still allow you to reach your goal of SRS - especially if you have to take a major cut in pay? I know what it's like to take a mega hit in pay. In 2002 I took a major hit in pay (close to a 30% cut in wages), at a time when I needed the money the most. It also didn't help that there was a recession going on at the time, and I was dealing with bathroom hassles, I needed to keep money coming in to keep a roof over my head, and keep open the hope of having SRS (even though I was barely getting by - transition and SRS [at the time, the company I worked for was like most companies then, in that the health insurance they provided did NOT cover SRS] are expensive propositions), so I kept my old job. Please consider the financial aspects the job issue - nobody says you have to stay at your current job long term.
If you've take the above into account, and still find that the new/other job is the way to go, go for it IMO. Otherwise, if you think you can handle the stress for a bit longer, try to hang on in your current job, until after SRS (which is what I did - when I got upset about things, I said to myself in a sort of mantra "I WILL leave this place [job], but it will be under my own terms!" [I was not about quit, and wind up unemployed like a friend of mine did]).
To paraphrase what I said in the beginning - YMMV.
