@ Amy Marie:   "Yay" is right.... and as you continue with your HRT you might even see more shrinkage not only with your feet but also other parts of your body as well...  including "down there" !!!LOL

I've taken to getting custom made shoes online. If they don't fit, they will remake them. The are sold through Nordstrom. I have size 14 male feet but size 14 women's seems to be alright.

I should also say I've noticed something interesting. The cut of women's shoes fits me better, even with slightly wider feet. I always wore loose men's shoes because they never felt right, but with women's shoes I can wear quite snug and they work perfectly. As such I tend to wear smaller women's shoes than I do men's shoes in terms of absolute size.

Mine wasn't in the poll. I wear 5 1/2.

I'm strange I have one size 7 foot and one size 8   so I wear somewhere between 7 to 8 mens  around 9 in womens depending on the shoe

My problem is not heels. but my stockings.

I have long legs, but small, actually quite feminine, feet. I need extra large hose, but then there is lots of ruffled material round my feet and ankles. So frumpy! 

I've been discouraged with shoe shopping. I wear size 10 men's, and need 11 - 11 1/2 women's. For some reason the women's shoes look HUGE! I've been trying to work out solutions for 2 months. And I unfortunately need shoes with extra comfort. I never would have predicted I'd fret so much over a pair of shoes

I bought some 12.5 Wides from Torrid.com.  They have a local store that I could return to.  I just ordered some from womanwithin.com but they haven't come in yet.  The largest they had was size 12, but the sizing chart indicated that they should fit.  I am crossing my fingers.

Mens UK size 8 Women's UK size 9 or EU size 43

I just want to add a place where I shop, which I by no means am affiliated with, but it's a store (and great online store) based out of the UK called Duo Boots.

They do shoes, ankle boots and boots all up to size 12/13 or like 44 in some types. The extra plus is you can in some define the width of the shoe/boot and even more so the calf width so the boots actually stay nicely snug around your calf. Check em out, Duo Boots. They are not cheap but they do have some amazing sales on occasion.

Another one, also not cheap, is John Fluevog out of Canada that also have a good site though very special taste in shoes and boots. They typically carry up to size 11.

Finally I've found Toms size 11 in women's actually are fairly large and in men's I'm typically a 10.5-11 but fit the Toms boots size 11 perfectly. Toms are also much more affordable than the two previously mentioned brands.

I faced the same thing, similar shoe size.  I found some things helped - although it doesn't seem logical to add a moderate amount of heel (maybe 2" / 5cm) I found that can be more comfortable than flats, depending on brand and style.  I think a slight heel makes feet appear slightly smaller - if you think about it, at a slight angle your feet are not as far forward.  I've found Clarks brand comfortable and durable. 

Radically tall heels do the opposite because they draw attention, especially if I do a face plant. 

I wear US women's 9-9.5 depending on the brand.

Thanks for the input, Kendra. I'll experiment with a short heel. I've always been a fan of Clarks too and will check their selection. Not too long ago I told a stranger she had cute shoes, and she said they were Clarks

Hi Zille;
Thanks for the tip on Duo Boots. I will be back in my cottage in the UK in the West country in May, so I will head up to Bath to the store as I need a new pair of boots. I have ankle boots with small heels, but really need some tall boots for the winter. Great suggestion.

My feet went from women's 10 to  8 1/2.  I also shrunk from 5'10.5 to 5'9

My feet are smaller than the smallest in the poll. If we don't take the width into account, my feet are actually smaller than the average women shoe size in Europe. Based on my measurements my feet are a little smaller than the EU38 size, that would make my feet size 6 in the US(women's size), so I should be able to go into any store and buy any ordinary shoe I like.
That sounds great until we account for the width and the shape of my feet. To begin with my feet are wider than usual for this size but to make matters worse my left foot is wider AND shorter than my right foot so that means that I usually leave without a shoe if I go into a store to look for something new, as most of the shoes that are the correct length look stupid on me.

I wear a size 12 women's shoe. Depends on brand and style of course. Mine have not shrunk from what I can tell. I am also still 5'-11" so no shrinkage there either. If my weight could shrink that would be great though! lol

Size 16 before 14 years HRT size 16 now

I've found that I'm comfortable in a woman's 11w or regular 12. My wife has donated some of her size 12 to me. Just wish it was some of her heels but that's not likely. I'll have to buy my own.

I can occasionally fit into a size 10 but mostly 11's for me, and let me tell you it's not easy finding shoes you like in size 11's =(
