Hi ladies!

I wake up every morning after 5 months on HRT and I automatically find myself checking to be sure my breasts are really there! I just cannot believe it is true! It has been so many years waiting to be me!

I know I cannot be the only one who is in denial, what do you do to remind yourself of your good fortune? What change has been the most dramatic and most anticipated for you?

Not my chest that's for sure.. Maybe that I'm finally growing out my hair and can work on the shame around femininity that I have around that for some reason.. [emoji4]

Uh.. that feeling amplified now that I just got a BA after insufficient growth from HRT. Takes a while to get used to, but loving the feminine shape it gives me.

I've been on HRT for 3 years now and transitioned about 1 1/2 years ago. I still can't believe it sometimes.

I started at 47. I've got too many decades of dysphoria to get over. Sometimes I see a beautiful woman and still think "I wish I looked like that", then I look down and go, "oh yeah. I already do."

Just wait, Marcie, until you have at least 3 years of HRT and GCS on top of that.

The whole package of gender confirming changes make me feel so much better about myself. Transition is not just a desire, but rather a necessity for improved quality of my life.

That goes away in time. Pretty soon they'll just be that thing that means you have to wear a tight torture device (bra) that you can't wait to take off through your sleeve while you crack open a bottle of wine in the evening.

Been on hormones for almost 6 years, and it's kinda hard to remember NOT having boobs.

I check my breasts several times a day. Not so much to make sure they are really there - I know they are not going anywhere - but because they feel so-o-o good!

I've wanted them so long (I'm 63), and now that I have them, I'm going to enjoy them every chance I get. I love the little ouch that tells me that they are still growing. Go, girls, go!

I check every morning and more to see if the look any bigger. I've got an A cup after 14 months but still have my D cup gut which makes them harder to notice.

Hair is an issue for me. It is thin and well I am trying to recover form being a balding guy...definitely something for me to work on

Kathy - you and me both. I waited 57 years so yes - they are a comfort.

I'm in the same boat, Tonya. Well, maybe only a C cup gut. Ironically, I'm just shy of 14 months (March 1st is my rebirthday).

I am still in the super excited stage of putting my bra on daily! So many friends I have spoken with hate their bras, not me. Maybe I consider it a badge of honour. I do like your descriptive style of opening your bottle of wine though

I am pre-hrt, but a longing for these feelings are how I came to understand my gender. I feel a mixture of hope and jealousy seeing people post these things... I am very happy it is going so well for you
