Hi, I've been transitioning MtF for just over a year and have been on HRT for all of that time. I had an orchi approx 1 month ago.  I was hoping for a B or C cup chest measurement and a curvy or pear shaped bottom. What I've actually got, to be blunt is bee sting tits and a flat bottom. I've not taken T blockers during this time but before the orchi I had very shrunken testicles and think it's been quite a while since I produced any testosterone.   I not complaining, I'm happy with the results, I certainly feel a lot more feminine it's just that I was hoping for a fuller figure. Am I being too impatient or does it sometimes just work out that way. Would appreciate any comments.

Yes, and yes - Everyone is different and their bodies react to HRT differently, this is best discussed with your Dr. but generally it takes about 2-5 years to see much for any real results  :icon_chick:

Thanks V M, I shouldn't be in rush.

I have developed a fairly decent butt by waiting for HRT to work and by strength training my lower body and posterior chain extensively.

It took me many years to reach a B cup and my rear is still pretty flat. One thing I have done is to put fat on in my legs which help to create a waist. I am comfortable with what I have because it will pass in a locker room but it's not the shapely feminine body that many of us visualize. Just sit back and enjoy the ride because a woman's body is still changing even in her 20's. We can't expect everything overnight because that's not how it works.

It can take time but everyone is very different. 1 year ago when I started thinking about transitioning I measured 46C. A year before I had been a large A or small B. I've lost 80
pounds and dropped to a 39inch band. The girls have stayed comparative to original up until December. I got fitted at 42C at the beginning of December and by January I hit 40C. I started estrogen in January and at the end of March and being in some pain I had another fitting.
I am now a 40DD. I guess my body just really likes the estrogen and low testosterone.
I've been fortunate that I've developed so fast but it also put me In the position of having THE talk with my wife way sooner than I would have if I wasn't changing so quickly.
I also had to come out at work way quicker due to the girls getting so prominent. Fortunately work is 110% behind me on this.
December 2015 noticed strange feelings moving in
December 2016 started to understand what my body has been telling me all my life, started wearing a bra for comfort full time
Spiro and dutastricide 2017
Mid year 2017 Started dressing and going out shopping etc by myself
October T 14.8 / 456
Came out to my wife in December 2017
January 2018 dressing androgenes and still have face hair
Feb 2018 Dressing full time in female clothing out at work and to friends and family, clean shaven and make up
Living full time March 1 2018
March T 7.4 / 236
April 19th eligard injection, no more Testosterone
June 19th a brand new freshly trained HRT and transgender care doctor for me. Only a one day waiting list to become her patient 😍

Thank you everybody for your replies.  If I may ask Deborah, which gym exercises would you recommend for some rear development.  I don't mind muscular so long as it sticks out a bit. At the moment mine is like a teenage boy, yuk.  Btw I'm 22 and quite sporty though I've never tried training with weights.

What I do is basically powerlifting training.  Initially it was three days a week but lately I've been doing it every day.  The two exercises that will target your backside are barbell back squats and deadlifts.

If you are on HRT and your T is low you will not develop a huge upper body.  It will however probably get bigger than it is now.  The positive side of that is that getting bigger chest muscles makes that whole top thing more prominent.

Over time you will probably develop a really thick lower body.  Look up some pictures of female powerlifters, just not the ones taking anabolic steroids.

If you ever do want to get started I recommend getting the book "Starting Strength" by Mark Rippetoe.  That will give you a wealth of knowledge on a good starting program, how to do the exercises right, and the physiology behind it all.  If you just want a starting program for free google Stronglifts.

As for what kind of strength is possible for women not on Anabolic Steroids, look at these charts containing the averages from several years of steroid tested powerlifting competitions.  https://i0.wp.com/www.strongerbyscience.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/Female-Percentiles.jpg?ssl=1

I think you'll find the numbers a lot higher than you expect.

I know I sound like a broken record here (showing my age with that saying ::)), but I have just finished two years HRT. For me probably 90% of my changes have been phenomenal breast growth. I have full C-cups now (after starting nearly flat) and little else (bra fitting websites say I am D or DD, but C bras fit). Two months ago I noticed my hips adding nice fat deposits. No changes to my face that I can see. So it is definitely YMMV. I wish it could be better predicted. Clearly not....

I've been doing weight training and power lifting exercises for several weeks now. I go with my friend Justine about 3 times a week for an hour so.  I've already noticed an improvement in muscle definition and think my bottom is starting to stick out a bit.  To begin with I always felt wiped out afterwards but seem to be adapting now. I still feel a bit tired but tired in a good way if that makes any sense.
