Hi everyone! I'm Izzy, a 32 year old trans woman from Portland OR! I say hello again in my title as I actually first came to this website when I was 18 and questioning. At the time I only entered the chat section, had a less than friendly intro experience, and locked away a lot of those feelings for another 13 years or so as best I could.

But I'm back, I have thicker skin, an amazing wife, and I feel like the community in general has greatly improved partially from more general public acceptance.

I've been on hormones for 10 months and just yesterday had type 3 forehead reconstruction and lip lift. There's not much for me to do at the moment, so I thought now would be a good time to post. Hello hello!

It does feel great! Though I guess technically I am off a few days until I get post - op clearance to restart my injections and meds!

Post op is pretty uncomfortable and there's lots of swelling which kind of makes me look monstrous imo, so I need the positive vibes and something to keep my mind occupied other than Netflix!

Laurie

Hi Izzy,

I saw you were a local girl in another post you made. If you want something to do this weekend  run on out to the Astoria pride festivities. There will be four of us from Susan's there. I'm sure we could arrange to meet out there. We will be joining in the river walk parade and will probably be holding a rainbow banner.
Welcome back to Susan's place. I am glad you are here.

Hugs,
  Laurie
