Shai

Hey all!
No idea where to start..

Oh wait actually I do!
My name is Shai, I am from Israel.
This Sunday I am going finally to meet a doctor for starting my road on HRT!

I am almost 19 years old (grr.. evil testosterone done alot of evil work on me).

I really hope I will get to start HRT as soon as possible, I delayed it too long! was scared of meeting a doctor for it, the comments might go on and all.

I have many fears on becoming a female, I mean.. I will need alot of surgeries, face and what not.

I fear on how well hormones will do their job.
My voice.. argh!

And also the small stuff.. it's hard to cross legs because the male legs angles seems different.. even the hands are different in angle and wider.. *jealous at birth females*

Feels unfair.. but I am sure I will manage to fix it all up! any tips will be welcomed!

Oh I wanted to ask, as I couldn't find it anywhere.
Is there any sort of timeline on the effects from the HRT? I mean, on average what happens when.
I know this is different to each and every person but just some average time line would be nice Smiley
I wonder (and excited) about when I will finally have noticeable changes!

Well, that's it for now! wish me huge good luck everyone! :-)

P.S. I accidently posted the interduction on the transgender sub-forum first, sorry about that!

Hello Shai, and welcome to Susan's! I'm sure it's not quite as bad as you think at 19. You still have a few years worth of biological growth in you on top of a greater receptivity for hormones, so that will make a HUGE difference, and at 19 masculinzation might seem heavy to you now, but it won't be nearly as bad as you are worried about. Talk to people here, look at some pictures, and you'd be amazed at the difference 6 months of hormones can make.

Welcome Shai,
Glad u found us here. These ladies here can help u with anything u need to ask. AS you said hun, about hormones it is different for everybody as to how well or how little the change will be. It also depends on the women in your family. As you know it wont change your voice or facial hair. Those you"ll have to do, and the hair is a long process.
The main reason you cant cross your legs exactly like GG's is they have  wider hips, thats how they can cross them like that. But with time you can learn to get close to it.
                               Once again welcome to Susans,
                                            Jenni

I met someone today which referred me to a psychatrist.
The person I meet is a famous transgender in israel because she helps the transgender community.

It kinda disappointed me though.. her arms were wide and big and I dunno.. I hope there can be done a lot better job for me.. I could see much of malehood on her physically without trying @@.. it scares me even more now
