I have a question tha's been bothering me since Mother's Day this year.

As a FTM, I'm not sure if I should celebrate Father's Day or Mother's Day.

What does those with children celebrate once you've decided to transition?

Either way, Happy Father's Day everyone, FTM or MTF!

@Ryuichi13   Well, since you asked, my careful opinion is that for a transitioined MTF, if there are children that were old enough to know you as a male father figure that you might consider letting them celebrate Fathers Day for you and with you.  No matter what happens you are will always be their father.
The opposite of course goes for a FTM, a mother you will always be to your children.

On the other hand, if there are good relations going on with all of your family members,
and especially with very young children involved
you possibly can celebrate one or both days as you and they feel comfortable.
For the MTF....  mommy#1 and mommy#2  ....
and for the FTM  daddy#1 and daddy#2

I know, I know, my answer is a non-answer...  I can not see how one answer fits all.

When I came out to my children I told them I will not take their father away from them, however I will be transitioning to a happier me.

So I am female and they call me dad, but in public places, outside the family, they use mostly female pronounces. My youngest daughter calls me momy2.

So yes, father's day for me.
