(Just bringing this back up because I am back after a long delay)

I'm Mystic!

I was looking online for resources for our forum, my life partner and I, and I found this forum.

We have our GLBT forum and we want to welcome everyone to it, and we are afraid we do not know much about the Trans Community, yet want to learn, we have a few members that are trans, we have only been up and going strong for a little over a month now, but hope to grow. I saw this forum and it looked informative so wanted to join to learn more and hopefully be able to reach out to our trans community.

We created our forum in hopes to reach out to the GLBT community, we often felt lonely at times, and my g/f wanted to start a forum so I followed suit with her. We have worked really hard and have amazing members so far. We have many couples there and just want to be there with open arms for everyone and support! We also have a survivors spot, and I am not sure that there are many forums out there for survivors that are gay. I know being a gay person myself it was often hard being on a forum with many straight people and talk about a survivor and being gay, I didn't get much support in that, so I think it's good we have a place for that now, it just kinda developed into what it has now.

Anways, that's enough ramble about our forum. I am not a trans, if you hadn't noticed. I am in my late twenties, and recent divorcee, late in finding out I'm gay. I'm loving it though. I live with my life partner and 3 kiddos.

Thanks for letting me join!

Again Hiya,

Welcome, mystic.  Another viewpoint to add to the mix here at Susan's.  I look forward to reading more about you and your cis-gendered journey.

Hi Mystic,

Nice to have you here.   In real life, there's no place for me in my town (I'm a male bodied gender variant), but the local LBT Women's group took me in.

I'm going to send you a PM asking where your forum is.  I'm just curious and it could make a good resource for the women in my support group.

Thank you for the welcome!

Rebis, yes, I got it. I was worried for a moment lol, I was hoping I hadn't did anything wrong!
I did get your pm, I will pm you when I can, ok?
Thanks for inquiring!

CIS-gendered means a person whose gender matches their body sex.  I call them normals, but some people call them straights.  I don't know if you count as cisgendered because of your sexual preference or not.  I get confused.

male bodied gender variant is someone born with a male body who does not identify as entirely male and who does not identify as entirely female.  I guess genderqueer would work as a label too.  I like 'gender variant' or 'pregendered'.
In my case, I feel I am female, but I don't feel like a woman, at least to the extent where I'm in need of transitioning or living as one.
We have female bodied gender variants too.

Pregendered is not an official word, but some of us use it to describe ourselves because we feel as though the gender part of our personality may have stopped developing at some point before we reached puberty.  We feel our point of view is similar to a child's in that we are confused by both male and female gender traits.

I hope someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

Also, update on our forum, we seem to be attracting more womyn and the trans community. And we are going pretty strong and have a heavy flow of traffic. :) Going on 6 months here soon. :) Our baby is growing! :)
