Do you know how many calories you need to maintain And how many calories you actually eat? Generally speaking, if you eat more than you need, you'll gain weight. If you become less active given the same or greater caloric intake, you'll gain weight. Insulin will convert excess carbs into fat. Of course it would be unhealthy to go down that particular road. Another way of putting on weight is eating over a time frame greater than 12 hours, particularly what you eat past the 12th hour. Unless you have data, who knows. You could be under feeding yourself and doing intermittent fasting and not know it.
