DAY 21 Of this crazy adventure and I will start it off with Happy Birthday to Laurie. Are you old enough to join the Crazy "Old" Ladies Club? We will hold a spot for you. Second since I am talking to Laurie I just wanted to let you know, since you warned us about Harvey before we got to Monica's and Ann's that the crew of the Carship Rosie found him to be an exceptionally favorable pooka who had no problem sharing his room. (I'm guessing that he is the one that kept leaving the toilet seat up.)
We had a wonderful visit with Ann and Monica. Thank you so much you two for sharing your home, and family and beautiful area of Maryland. We spent time seeing some history, Veiwing lovely green tree covered hillsides and flowing rivers and streams. (It did rain buckets full while we were there.) Actually they have a beautiful back yard that is quite picturesque.
Of course we had a number of good meals which included wonderful talk, met their great kids. We also got to meet the new grand-dog. Spent time watching football, until we decided that Greenbay couldn't pull it out and turned the TV off to pursue playing games. It wasn't till this morning that Tia and I learned they had won. The picture does show a bit of disappointment on Moni's part.

Here are just a few bits of proof that we did Maryland. (Harvey proved to be exceedingly camera shy.)

trip to Harpers Ferry.
This has been a fantastic trip but it has taken a direction that has saddened us in that Hurricane Florence has decided to play through. We have made the decision not to mess with Mother Nature and have turned west toward the sunset. Tonight we are in Cabela, West Virginia. The trip has been truncated and we plan to be back in Colorado by the weekend.
Signing out and homeward bound,
Debi and Tia
